Where did the summer go?
Soon the leaves will start turning and the smell of fall will be in the air.
Fall is my favorite time of year.

Happy September. Both my daughters have birthdays this month. It will be quiet around our house sense the girls are both in college. Just dh and I home with the animals.

Patti, it is still warm here too but the nights have cooled off a little.

Charlotte, my ds2 has a birthday this month too!

Fall is my absolute favorite season - warm days, cool nights, apple picking, the leaves turning. Had 6 dc children today - 4 babies, a 4yo and a 10yo (former dc child who still comes occasionally). They are all awesome kids but boy do they keep me busy! And I won't even mention how many poopy diapers I have changed today. Today is ds2's first day of school and then he has football practice. I will be interested to hear how his day went when he gets home.

I like fall when the nights are cooler and the leaves change color too but my favorite time of year is winter. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas with all the decorations. I'm decorating for fall now.LOL I have pumpkins, fall leaves, turkey and gourds to decorate my pie safe. It is an antique that belonged to Jerry's grandmother. It is a folding pie safe. I've got to get finished and get something for supper.LOL I guess I'd better go for now, please take care, stay safe and cool. Be blessed!

Hot and humid here today. But cool front coming in over the weekend.

My grandson and his wife will be having twins this month. I will be a great-grandma.
They live in the Green Bay area but never see them. They are busy with their lives. But that is okay. That is just the way things are.

Paula I love Thanksgiving and Christmas too. But do not like the cold, ice and snow.
But since I am retired and don't have to go out in it I don't mind it as much.

Lots of diapers period let alone poopy ones. I so admire you Sammi.
It is 64 now so cooler at nite. Tomorrow suppose to be in mid 80's.

Paula, those ss pkgs always bring a smile to us, don't they.
sounds like the timing was good... as I bet those injections
hurts, as they sound painful..
I remember the one and the only time John and I can pears. I have pictures
of them.. so many pears.. LOL.. it was a fun project together
but decided not to do it again.. plus the pear trees never
got to that point where they had great pears... some was ok, but
Stinker my horse love them, as well as my mini horse Hobo...

Sammi, I hope the preschool for this little boy will help him.
Sorry your girl weekend plans got ruin but thankful you
didn't get caught up by it... I bet you are glad that your
routine is back in order again.

Charlotte, have you been to a WOF before? Wow that will be next
weekend... I love going even when things are at rock bottom.
In the passed I've been fortune to always get a free ticket
praise GOD... as someone can't make it and don't want to lose
their ticket... this yr it felt good that I was able to pay
for it.

Sandi, I totally agree with you on the Labor Weekend, but some
schools which our schools did been going on for couple of
weeks now.. they went to school longer this yr and started back
already.. of course going to school late was due to the make
up days they had to do due to the cooold weather we had
this past yr with the snow.. I remember when it didn't snow
that much in these parts but now over the past 2 yrs we get
snow.. even around Christmas.. Amazing

seleach again Cong. to your gson and wife on the upcoming of
the little one.. Do they know what they be having?

Hard to believe it is Sept.. but so ready for fall.. as fall is one of my favorite season with Spring being next. Love how the color changes.. our part don't have the beautiful color as some states does, but love it being cooler..
I want to work in my storage unit and downsize... found out today there is a vacant right next to my unit that the girl is going to try to hold if all possible.. where I can move my things to the other one as I clear things out.. but no promises which I totally understand.
Today been working on the SS names and they are all ready to be send out tomorrow.. We have 12 ladies...
