Plans for Black Friday?

It's supposed to rain here on Fri. I haven't made any shopping plans, anyway. Have you?

What do you plan to do this year?

We don't have Black Friday here in Canada, but I did hear on the news that there is someone (I have no idea where) that has been in line since yesterday or so, in front of an electronics store! Doesn't that sound a bit much? Are the sales really that good, or is it like our Boxing Day in which there are a numbered few really, really good deals?

Most store have just a very few of the big featured items on that day. There are plenty of crazy people around here who wait out in the cold for hours before the stores open. I used to do it but now that I have kids and a husband who wants no part of doing that, I don't even bother any more.

In the end, I've been able to find some better deal online.

NO shopping for me on Black Friday! I had days when the boys were small that I went to those to get the special deals, but no more! I also worked in retail for 10 years and was on the "other side" of that mess! We actually had to draw straws to see what employee was going to unlock the front doors! LOL
