How old are you?

How old are you..................and how old do you feel?

I am 49 and feel about 60.

I will be 56 in august. My body feels pretty old sometimes(most of the time).LOL Mentally I feel young. Pictures are hard to swollow sometimes. I don't see myself unless it's in a picture... Then reality sinks in. Mentaly I think I still think like I'm much younger. Maybe in my 20's. I was just talking about this with some friends a few day's ago. Age and the accident keep my body from doing everything I want to do, but I still think of it.LOL

Im 54, I feel about 40, unless its one of those days my back is bothering me, like today, and I feel like Im 70. I can relate to the pain Patti, I hate to take the Flexeril for my back during the day, it makes me soooo tired, so I only take it at night, they also gave me Tramadol for the pain, and it makes me dizzy lol, so I can't win. I think I will ask to go back to the Meloxicam(anti inflammatory) I stopped it because I thought it was making my stomach bother me, and it turns out it wasnt that anyhow. I need to lose about 18 lbs too, that may take some of the strain off my back as well, didnt mean to ramble on here lol! Hugs to All!!

Mentally I feel good bit younger and the face I see in the mirror is not the face my mind remembers.
I can not take Tramadol makes me sick. And my PC DR does not want me to take Flexeril she told me why but forgot the reason. I still had some and just took container out of my pocketbook and checked the "discard by" date and it said July 29 of '10 so crushed them and put in garbage. In with my waterbill yesterday a flyer said to NOT put down toilet or sink as it ends up in our drinking water after they filter wastewater but they have no means of filtering out meds. And they suggested crushing pills and putting them in cat litter, sawdust or something else but forgot what that was. That way any dogs/cats won't be tempted to eat them. If they get into where the garbage is dumped.
I only weigh 125 now so that can not be excuse why my lower back is hurting.

I hope God willin' you're still w/us at 74 in Oct too Patti!

I'm 42. Some days I feel older than dirt (thanks artie!) and others I am rarin' to go like I was two (last week of July). Then there are days like today... I have the mental stimulation of a race-car driver (wants to rip up the day and go go go!), and the legs of a slug (I'll get there when I get there)... I just hope today doesn't end like yesterday w/pop pop pop every time my back moved

I don't take IB pro-fin nor aspirin as much as I use to (docs had me on 2000mg pr day for 2 years), really rare unless my left big toe is throbbing and I am popping even after laying on a cool /warm compress of sorts. I tried the oral and injection (was suppose to be 3 shots in 6 weeks time) shots, but the pain and numbness always returned in less time than doctors predict than would have to wait a week before next treatment, and than I saw their fee for each procedure and told medical ins that I felt they were being ripped off and why, so now I am back to deciphering which is more annoyed my arthritis or lumbar discs (based on my big toe), and then deciding whether I need the IBP or not. Since I am also on INH I really need to watch the IBP /aspirin intake

P.S. Thanks for the tip about meds Patti.

I'm 49, but I don't feel any different than when I was 20. I certainly look different, sad to say, but internally I feel the same!!
