Family Corner Reunion:

Summer 2011.....camping and hotel..............right in the middle of the USA...Missouri......who is interested??

I would LOVE to get together with everyone. Heck, I'm not even sure how far away Missouri is from me. ROFL!! I'll go for the camping in the hotel. hahaha!!!

Ok, I just checked....MO is 14 hrs. and 860 miles away from me...but I could possibly fly there.

Yea, I am serious! We could all start saving money now! Those who prefer hotels could reserve them early to get a better discount and those who like to camp could do so...........

We could all maybe meet in Branson......theatres, museums, restaraunts... etc.......

The only way that I could do it is with my family....so if you're thinking "women time" (and I would love that!!!), I can't do that just yet.... That would be ok though....I'll catch ya on the next trip!!

I would be interested, but can't leave DH at home alone and he doesn't do well in crowds so no way I could go. But would love to be able to; camping and all! Sounds like a wonderful place to do it!

Looks like about 525 miles for me---could possible work. I might have tp do some checking. Maybe I could send DH to St Louis for some baseball and me to Branson with you ladies---LOL

Hello my friends!

At this point, just throwing out ideas, so please add yours as well!
I thought of Missouri because it is in the middle of the USA.
About an even drive for East Coasters and West Coasters and those in the middle get a break!! LOL!

Branson, though I have never been , I hear is a family friendly place....
Ajrsmom, I would say if you could do it, go ahead and make it a family trip and, during the trip, we could all plan a day for us girls to meet up for lunch, chit chat and a show or something like that.
What do you think?

Bluebird, you are not far at all from Branson!!! You've GOT to come!

Catlover, would hubby be comfortable coming if he skipped the crowds of Branson and just enjoyed himself at the motel room or campground while you came and met up with us girls for a day?

Joy, I think you've got a good idea with hubby going to a ballgame in St. Louis!!!!

If you are really interested, start saving money now!! For those who are coming single, maybe you could think now of who you might want to carpool with.

I have also started this thread on Facebook and Val, Amanda and Graceygrammy have also shown some interest!!! Val mentioned carpooling.

I think we can do it!!!!!!!!

Branson is just 90 miles from me. I would be glad to check on deals and even find some things to do around the area. I love Branson and there are lots of shows, rides and shopping. This is such a great idea.
