Waiting in line

Whats the longest you've ever waited in a line?

For me it was a few years back when mom and I waited three days at the Civic Auditorium for George Strait tickets to go on sale! Yes........we got front row center seats!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the longest line Mark has ever been in was in Springfield waiting to meet Mark Martin, the racer!

hugs, train

For me, it would have to be one of the years I've waited in line on Black Friday. I don't do that any more!

Wow Donna, I have never done anything like that. I hate waiting in lines, I'm far too impatient. I think the longest I have ever waited on a line was 45 minutes at Universal theme park in Florida for the family to ride some water ride that took 45 seconds to complete. Then I waited another 45 minutes so they could ride it again. I thought I would need to crawl out of my skin! Did I mention I hate waiting in lines?

I too hate waiting in lines and NOW can not stand too long with out severe pain in lower back. So I pretty much keep moving if say in W-mart line or the like. I can walk better than I can stand. But years ago I stood in line about half hour to get into a 1.00 movie. But no more

Cool Longest time waiting in line....

The longest line i ever waited in besides (traffic), was with a lot of other for one the Harry Potter movie premier midnight showing (the night before it opened world wide): 2 hours - and were near the front of the "second" line (of four lines)

I don't stand / sit / dance long in lines that long anymore either... I think my top out point is 45 minutes (Tuesday, 06/29/10, at a career fair that I was already preregistered for).

Expo '88 that was here in Brisbane the longest line for dh and I (just married) was 1hr and 25-ish minutes to get into the New Zealand pavilion, and boy was it worth it!
There every thing had a line I think our shortest wait was 20 minutes depending on the popularity of the pavilion, Nepal, NZ, the Magna Carta, even food was a line up, would I wait that long any other time, no way this was a once in a lifetime thing. We bought open passes and visited many times, the weekends being the longest line times. Then there were the rides .......

I rarely stand in lines but we did go to NYC in May and stood in TKTs line to get half price tickets to Broadway show. I think it may have been less than half an hour but was fun to people watch, so it went by quickly. We got front row seats to "A Little Night Music" with Angela Lansbury and Catherine Zeta Jones. It was so WORTH it. Also the next day we stood in line for about the same lenght of time to board the Circle Line tour boat for narated tour around the Hudson and East River. Also worth it.

Newdawn, as a native New Yorker, my girlfriend and I used to head down to the TKTS boot after school and wait on line to get seats for the evening performances. This was in the 70's when Times Square was NOT a place for HS kids... But it was wonderful being able to see a show in Orchestra seats for $20. (how times have changed.) I also remember hot summer days when my dad would take us on the Circle Line, and we'd try to "see" our house, which was only located by finding the tall buildings near our home. Then we'd go to Chinatown or Little Italy for supper. Thanks for sparking some memories!
