If you had to work

If you had to work outside the home what would your ideal job be?

My ideal job would be an activities aide in a nursing home! I love to plan birthday parties, games, SIMPLE crafts, senior exercising, bingo, etc.....
I just love being aroung seniors. it's the age group I can most comfortably talk with.

My DREAM job would be getting to drive a Amtrak train with the tracks all to myself!!! (no freight trains!!) LOL!

hugs, train

I'd like to either work in a bakery or in an animal shelter.

I always wish I had gone into the social work field working with family and children services......

Now if I have to go back to the "real " work force I would like to work in a craft shop or gifty type shop part time or run craft classes

Ideal job for me would be A Teddy Bear Counselor (yes they have them!) at the Vermont Teddy Bear factory in Vermont, they take orders for the bears, and consult with buyers on what outfits they would like on there bears, and help with picking the perfect teddy for gifts, I wish they were here in New Hampshire lol! They also have a Teddy Bear hospital where they repair bears that need it!!

goodness if I didn't have to worry about the money, or being on my feet all the time I would work with Senior or with Kids. As both of them are about the same except for age.
You learn from both and it can be a rewarding job to work with both.

When I was able to work it was always with children. But also use to read to elderly ones in hosp as well as the VA hospital. I sometimes wrote letters for them too.
