Wow Welcome to February 2010 ....can anyone tell me where the time goes????? This month is the month we celebrate those we loveon Valentines Day. do you do anything special??? Do you give gifts to your sweetie or kids???? We will actually be at the Olympics for Valentines Day...cheering on the Canadian team for curling along with other sports we are seeing. My oldest son turns 16 this month....guess driving is not far behind. The only other major event going on is a curling bonspiel next weekend that our club is hosting.....16 teams of 4 coming to play...Yikes here we go again...this is my 3rd bonspiel this season....
So what are your plans this month

this month will be another milestone to cross, not with my love of my life. Noone to hug or kiss, someone to say " I love you honey" so please give your mates extra hugging since I can't. One doesn't understand how much you miss their things that irrates you, bug you until they are no longer with you. One doesn't understand the lonelyness one goes thru without thier mate. So this month if you see a widow or widower, and you know them, give them a extra hug. If you have a moment to stop at a nursing home or hospital to see those that no one sees, reach out to them this month, they need it more than you may realize. We see all the hgging and loving goes on in Feb and we are lonely and sad.
DebK, you are so blessed to be able to go to the Olympics enjoy yourselves. and we want to see the pixs. I wish your country the best as well.
this morning went to a new church with dd and family. I liked it in some parts and other parts I just not sure, but would not mind going and trying it again. It a larger church, but different from most lg church that I've have visit.d
I would love to find a church that has other widows or older single adults. It would help.
working tomorrow a half a day, noon to 3:50, and going to be checking on a job for after school care to see if they have a opening or not.
this weekend was wet and yucky.hope all of you will have a nice week
I bowled pretty good tonight. I bowled a 145, 174, and 170. I looked at my average and was surprised to find that it is 148. Who knew?
Next Saturday afternoon I'll be bowling in the Susan G Komen Bowl for the Cure tournament. I've already raised $40 in donations. I've put together a team of 6 bowlers from our league.
Time for me to get to bed. Good night all!

Dval good job with raising that much money. Have fun bowling.
Deb have a great time at the Olympics.
Bar Bar I will give my dh an extra hug just for you. You will be in my thoughts this month.
This is a quiet month for us. Dd #2 is still running winter track every Friday and a few extra meets here and there. Dh and I don't do alot for Valentines Day. I am just praying that he gets some interviews from all the phone calls he has been receiving. That would be enough to make me smile for the month.
Dd #1 is not scheduled to come home to visit from college until March. My dil's birthday is this month. We will send her a card sense they are in Texas.
Deb---Take lots of pics at the Olympics.
Barb---You brought tears to me eyes reading your post. I will be sure to give dh lots of extra hugs this month. We don't really do anything special for Valentines day.
Donna---Good luck at the bowling tournament.
Theresa---Hugs to you.
This is the last day of my long weekend. How I love being home! Oh well..........
Have a great day everyone! Smiles and hugs for all.
