Ds's birthday is this month and it happens to fall on Thanksgiving Day.

Buck is planning on going deer hunting. His plans may change depending what the test he has done this Thursday on his legs tells the dr.

Donna Marie so sorry for your loss. I can well understand what you are going through.
Prayers for you and family.

Very windy here and a cool night for sure.
It was strange to see the moon at 5:15PM and rather high in the sky. Looked almost white.

Hi to everyone.

I have lots and lots of leaves in my yard if anybody want to come rake. LOL!!! No fighting their are plenty to go around.

November is a good month for us. Veterans Day is a big thing for my family. Thanksgiving is even bigger.

I love fall and the trees are so pretty. This year with no kids in football or cheerleading we don't have to go to the Thanksgiving Day High School Football Game. I am going to miss. I can't even believe I just said that.

Well need to get off the computer dd#2 needs to print something out for school.

Donna Marie - you are in my thoughts and prayers, God Bless John.

And I sweat over the small stuff, should save my strength for the big issues.

Donna-Marie, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

This month I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. We will be at my sister in law's in Maine and will also be attending The Nutcracker at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts on the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. Also looking forward to have Veteran's Day off ( any day I have off is a treat). My brother Jamie's birthday and my nephew Carson's birthdays are this month. Also lots of yard work to do and getting ready for winter.

DonnaMarie, Im so sorry for your loss, I hope at least you may find a little comfort in the fact that knowing he isnt in pain and suffering anymore, Hugs to you, we are all here for you.
Sammi hope you are feeling better, I bet you cant wait to get the new 6week old DC baby, I just love them from infant to 12 months, they seem to change daily, and are so precious.
Connie, how exciting about your move, Im so happy for you, hopefully you will be all settled somewhat anyhow, lol) by Christmas good luck!!
We spent Sat going yard saleing, with another couple, I wish I had started this last spring lol, because Im finding such awesome deals, but with the colder weather there wont be too may more, we have a blast driving around going to them. This coming Sun and the following Sunday a friend of mine is in charge of an indoor flea market, Im actually thinking of setting up a table, not this Sun,but the 2nd Sun., Darryl also is getting back into selling the collectible knives and swords, but I have to check and see if he is allowed to sell them in the town where the flea market is,(some places wont allow it) but most will as long as there are no "switchblade type knifes) also no selling to anyone under 18 (Darryl goes a step further and usually wont sell to anyone unless they are 20 or over) these are collectibles and most young kids cant afford them anyhow.
Not sure about Thanksgiving, right now it looks like it will be at my dd's, but, we were talking the other day, and thinking maybe we will have it at my moms and dd and I will do all the cooking, have to decide soon.
Well Im going to get some errands done, will pick up a card to send to DM too. HUGS

Morning Everyone...

No birthdays or anniversaries this month...actually not much going on this month at all...Will be putting up the inside Christmas lights this week and might even get the tree up this month...

Today marks 17 years that Glen's dad has been gone...I miss him every day...

Glen is doing well with being underground...comes home and falls asleep...yep back to the old routine again...lol...he will have to continue with the exercises the rest of his life...we still don't know why his leg turns purple and swells up...he won't see the surgeon again until January...

I just called the clinic and talked to one of the nurses doing the vaccine and I have to get the H1N1...the only problem is I have to stay at the clinic for an hour in case I have a reaction to the vaccine, then I am close enough to the hospital if I need it...hopefully I won't need it...now just to break the news to Glen that he has to have the vaccine too...oh he is not going to be a happy camper about that...We get the vaccine on Thursday morning...early enough so I will be the only one at the clinic and not around anyone who is sick and coughing...

Wishing everyone a wonderful day...Its cold here and still snowing...

Smiles & Hugs...

I am keeping Donna-Maria in very special prayers. Thanks, Barb, for updating all of us!

Bluebird, best of luck with your move. May you be happy and healthy in your new place!

Sammi, I bet you're looking forward to having that newborn at your dc. They are so sweet.

Theresa, hope all goes well with your vaccine.

This will be a busy month here. DD has started basketball (she made the "A" team for her age level) and her first game is tomorrow. Big DS heads to Mississippi for a week with a school group, to rebuild houses damaged in Katrina. Yes, there is still a LOT of work to do. I am scheduled for an endometrial ablation on the 12th, and hopefully that will take care of my "Ms Mabel" problems once and for all. I will see the doctor in a few minutes for my pre-op appointment. Thanksgiving will be at my sister's and that's always a lot of fun. She is a great cook and wonderful hostess. You can't help having a good time when you visit her house.

Stardust, nice to see you post. Been a long time.

Theresa, I'm glad you and Glen are getting the H1N1 vaccine even if you and he don't want it.

Sammi, I know you are excited about getting a new baby to take care of.

I will be going to see ds the weekend before Thanksgiving. He has never liked turkey, stuffing, cranberries, or yams or pumpkin pie.
We always had to have turkey and ham and a dish of scalloped potatos along with all the usual foods.
Buck will be gone deer hunting that weekend, maybe. Depends on what the test he has on his legs this Thurs. shows.

Hi to everyone.
