Do You Believe There is a Big Foot?

There have been documentaries about Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster and other creatures.
Do you think they are real?

I really don't know what to believe here. I have seen the documentaries. I don't believe in monsters, etc. But then where did all this info come from?

Photos were taken of 'Big Foot' years and years ago before the age of computers. So you know the photos are not computer generated. There are plaster casts of huge footprints. The casts were made years and years ago.
But if something like this exists, where could they be hiding? And wouldn't there be more than a couple?

I feel the same way, Sharon. I think that it is a possibility that they could've existed but that now they are extinct - whatever "they" are.

They could've survived in the deep woods where noone has been, I guess.

But I do think that if they existed now, there would be multiples of them.

I believe the same as you last 2. For all the years we have heard about this sort of thing and there don't seem to be that many sightings of them any more I also believe if they existed they are extinct. There would have had to been females to have bred and by this time there should be lots of them around.I believe they never existed or their was never more then one left of the species and they are now all gone.

Do you remember stories being told of giant squid attacking boats.
There was a program on National Geo tonight that showed fisherman catching a colossal squid and it is now perserved and on display. I forget where it is. Anyway, this squid was 30ft long and weighed a thousand lbs. The men had managed to get a hugh fishing net around it and got it back to land by dragging it along side thier large fishing boat. It was like a large charter boat. It was caught near New Zeland. The squid started wrapping it's arms around the gapling hooks and tried to get some of the arms in the boat. So the stories about the hugh squid attacking boats was probably true. If they hadn't gotten the net around the squid when they did, they probably would all have been killed.

As I say about ghosts and aliens, I'll believe in them when I see them.

I do not believe there is a creature per se. However, I believe that someone or several someones have posed as Big Foot for publicity. If there were such a thing as a creature called Big Foot, there would be evidence in their remains, living quarters, things they use to eat with, and so on. They have not found any of that and they have not found where they have gone to the bathroom to examine that.

I don't believe in Big Foot or Nessie, but it does make for some good science fiction stories!
