Barbszy, when you lose your spouse, it is something you learn to accept but you never get over it.
You learn that life goes on and you need to make a new life for yourself and move forward. That can take a lot of courage and the will to do it. You draw on inner strength that you never knew you had. You do what you have too. You get through the loss and the grieving and things get better. But it takes time. You cannot sit locked up in your house waiting for time to go by. You have to get out and do things. You have to be involved in activities, work, take care of your home. It is not easy to do these things at first but they all help you to go on.

HI everyone!!! When it rains it pours here, lol. Sorry I have been MIA, Monday my mom went out for coffee with a friend and she fell(she missed the curb somehow) and she fractured her ankle, so needless to say I have been taking care of her as she is ina wheelchair right now, I have her here with us, today Im taking her to the Orthopedic dr to see what is the next step(Im hoping a walking cast) but Darryl seems to think she will have to keep it immobile until healed, which means she will be in a wheelchair until then, its easier to care for her here then her house, as she is having great difficulty getting out of the wheelchair and into bed or even on the tilet(and she refuses to use a bed pan, lol I suggested depends for night time and she flatly refused that too, so looks like this is going to be a "long" summer. Darryl has to come with us today to the Dr he is leaving work early because I cant get her from the house to the car, by myself. Tuesday morning I had to run next dorr to my neighbors and have her help me lift my mom up, she fell trying to get into the chair from the toilet(she didnt wait for me to help she just did it herself) anyhow there was no way I could pick her up, I was about to call the police lol, . Anyhow just wanted to let you all know whats goingon, I will pop back in. Oh Theresa the "Teddy Bears are here all safe and sound and love their new home, I have attached a pic, they are having pancakes lol, since their new addition came with maple syrup!! He is cuter in person then the pic, I love him!!! Have a great aday al!!! HUGS
Just a short note to let you know I arrived home safely yesterday at 6 AM.
11 hours later we had to put our Keema baby to sleep so I am really tired and beside myself right now. I will be back in a day or two, promise.
