I have no specific plans for the month of April other than celebrating Easter and my dd's 22 birthday. Hubby gets to go back to work on April 10th. He is counting the days. Had a good day today with the 3 dc kids. We all go to go outside which the kids just loved. I made them stay in the dry areas and away from the mud a little remaining snow but they still had fun. Dh and I even got to do a bit of yard sale and discovered our crocuses are up. Tomorrow will only have two dc children and it is supposed to rain. I will take rain over snow any day.
Patti, I am glad your hip was feeling better today.
Donna-Marie, I am glad to hear that John’s doctor did not yell at you and that the appointment went well. At least now you know why he has not been eating and is so tired. Hopefully now that he is done with radiation his appetite will start to come back. He is very lucky to have such a loving wife to take care of him.
Pam, glad to hear that your mom is doing so well. It is always nice to get a good report from the doctor. Hope you were able to find the right shade of yarn. Isn’t birthday shopping for kids fun? I always have such a hard time making up my mind ‘cause there are so many cool toys out there.
Felicia, I am so glad that Petey is officially yours. I cannot believe the guy actually wanted “visitation” That cracks me up. I agree with DeBora. If he gets visitation, he needs to pay dog support! Glad you had a good first day at Target. I really hope you like the job.
Donna (dval) I am so sorry your parish had a robbery. I can’t imagine someone stealing from a church. Some people just have no conscience. The music store where my dd works has shoplifters all the time. A week ago one of the managers caught a group stealing and chased them down but unfortunately left the register unattended and a lady stole $80 out of the register while she was gone. They did get the stolen merchandise back, though, thanks to the police. The money was gone for good.
Harleychick, thank you for the update on Bar_Bar and John. They are both in my prayers.
Barbszy, sorry that you can’t use your clothes line for awhile. I have to admit the smell of asphalt makes me ill after awhile.
Joy, isn’t it funny how certain smells bring back memories. I have been hearing on the news about the weather and flooding in the Midwest. I hope the weather gets better soon for all of them.
Connie, I am sorry you are having trouble with your washing machine. I hope it isn’t too expensive to repair.
DeBora, that is so cool that you found your brother on facebook. I hope that the two of you can now keep in touch again.
Charlotte, when you your ds’ tour in Iraq end officially? I think it is great he will soon be back in the US. It may not be close to you but at least you will know he safe.
Sharon, when is Buck’s official last day? How was the cake and punch party? I have a feeling the library is going to be in dire straights until they find people to replace Buck and Al. The cleaning company doesn’t sound like it is going to work out well at all.
Cau, I can’t blame you for wanting to hire someone to put down the new floor. I bet it will be much faster.
Sueanne, I wish I had half of your energy. I bet your neighbor is wishing the same thing. Your yard looks beautiful and you should be proud of all your hard work. I bet your dh will feel even better once he gets those staples out. Hope he doesn’t end up over doing it.
Sandie, I haven’t seen the movie Marley & Me but I want to. I read the book and it was hysterical. I thought Seven Pounds was a great movie. It definitely makes you think. You will have to let me know if you like it or not.
Have a great evening everyone.
