Happy March everyone........and may the luck of the Irish be with you!! . I love March as it usually means spring will soon be on its way....It also means celebrating St Patricks Day, which is also my moms birthday. We wear green, have cabbage and corned beef with green potatoes for supper....even make some green bread and pancakes for lunch and breakfast.....Do you have any special traditions....... March also brings the saying in like a lion and out like a lamb or vice versa....what is i going to be where you live????? For us right now it is like a lamb.....so I hope it is not true about the lion at the end of the month!
So what are your special plans for the month???
Hugs dEbbie

Happy March all.
March is a busy month at our house. Ds#1 turned 25 yesterday. Since he now lives 4 hrs away we called him and talked to him, but no big celebration. Dd#2 will be 17 on Wednesday of this week. We went to a local Pizza place last night as several cousins also have b-days this week and we had a celebration for the whole group.
Dd#1 will have Spring break in a couple weeks and is planning to come home during that week.
St Patrick's Day here is not a big holiday, but we love corned beef and cabbage. I always hope for leftovers so we can have Ruben sandwiches also.
I am also planning a dinner for Dh's sibling this month. They all did so many nice things for us when Dh had his surgery last December, that we wanted to something nice for them. We have a few little projects to get done around the house, so we are planning the dinner for the end of the month.
The weather here is suppose to warm up and be more Spring like. I am ready for that!!! I am not ready for Daylight Savings time though. I hate the weekends that we make the changes. It always takes me at least a week or more to get use to the change of an hour---especially when I lose one.
Have a great day all.
Happy Monday everyone! How is it up your way Sammi, we have 11 inches right now, it doesnt look like its coming down as hard as it was earlier but its still snowing. I just popped into Feb friendship posts, and read back a few, DeBora, I hope you are feeling better, glad you enjoyed the race. Karen and donna Marie great pics!! Ellen sounds like you had a good time at the reuinon, I went to my high school reunion a few yrs back, and we had so much fun getting caught up. Sammi, dont feel to bad Darryl doesnt do anything to help around here either, once in a great while he will pull out the vacuum, but when he does, I know its because he made a mess, LOL! Its my fault too, I know how hard(physicaly) he works all week, so when he is home I dont ask him to help. He is good at the repair part though. He does at least rinse and leave dirty dishes in the sink, but thats the extent of it. I cant remember what else I was going to comment on, oh 1 thing was Donna Marie, Im glad you got to take John out to eat, as for the "ignorant" people that stare, try and ignore them, and dont let them ruin your time out. Last night we went to a hockey game here in town, it was the Policeman against the Firemen (from all over), the tickets were only $10, and all the money went to CHAD (childrens hospital at dartmouth) the place was packed, it was alot of "cold" lol, fun. I couldnt get warm enough when we got home, of course the snow starting to come down didnt help maters any either. I was talking to my dd earlier, they are all home, school got cancelled, and the roads are just too bad for her to go to any patients homes right now, anyhow, one of the kids left a bottle of maple syrup on the kitchen table and Caitlyn grabbed it and before anyone noticed she had it all over herself, and dog, she was pouring the bottle out, lol, dd said she felt like crying when she saw the kitchen, and the mess, Caitlyn had a bath, then the dog had one lol. Hi to everyone, I missed, and hope you al have a nice day, despite this weather (those of you that are having this snow) Im soooooo tired of it!!!!
March came in like a lamb here so I expect it to go out like a lion. Have always found the old saying to be true. In like a lamb, out like a lion, in like a lion, out like a lamb. Am going to hope for once it is wong.
We are expecting another snow storm to come in on Sat.
Sandie, I can just picture the mess Caitlyn made.
Joy, tell dds1 and dds2 happy birthday.
Sounds like a fun Pizza party.
Seeing as how Donna Marie had her sr. yr pic posted, does anyone else have one to post. I will look and see if I have one.
Hi to everyone.
