Who can't like Will Smith?

I think about every movie I've seen Will Smith in I have liked. Especially MIB - aka - Men in Black. What is there not to like about Will Smith? Maybe his funny ears?

I haven't seen Han**** yet. But I do have a VHS of Wild Wild West from years ago. And wasn't he on television for awhile in the beginning? Some show about living in California with his uncle?

What do you like about Will Smith? And do you know anyone who can't watch him? What is your favorite Will Smith movie?

Ellen, I can't say I'm a huge fan of Will Smith, but I do enjoy watching movies that he's in. He seems very down to earth to me. He's been married to the same woman for quite some time and has two or three chidren. I think he's an excellent role model, unlikely many of the Hollywood stars.

He is from Philadelphia (my hometown), and got his start on The Fresh Prince of Belair, which DD2 has been watching a lot in reruns.

For some reason, my DH doesn't like him, but he's weird - lol!

I like Will Smith, I like his movies and he just seems like a nice approachable guy.
He had is mistakes early on in his career and seems to have learned from them. He's just likeable LOL

Donna I liked that movie too...his son played in it.......I also loved hitch..light hearted but funny.....I want to see his newest...7 pounds I believe is the title. Looks good. He and hs wife Jada have a beautiful family, his one son is from a previous relationship. They have been on talk shows and talk about how they raise their children just like you and I do....very down to earth with good values.

hugs debbie

I also like & have Pursuit of Happyness & Independence Day. Good movies.

Enemy of the State was also good.

I like Will Smith. I saw Han**** last weekend, it was hard seeing him in this type of role, because of the language that he had to use and how he treated people in the beginning. But the movie was still great.

I think I am going to ask my dds if they will do a Will Smith marathon movie watching with me. I haven't seen all the movies you all mentioned on here!

What mistakes did he make early on? I guess he is doing good now so that is good!

I've liked Will Smith since he was in the show the French Prince of Belair and like all the movies he has been until I saw Han***. He was too annoying and I especially didn't care for the scene where he was rude to an elderly lady at a restaurant. It really annoys me when people are rude to senior citizens, even though I am not one. Also I've known too many people with chips on their shoulders to be entertained by that role but there was a good lesson in the movie.
