I'm currently reading Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight: An African Childhood by Alexandra Fuller. It's Fuller's memoir of being a British child growing up in revolutionary Zimbabwe/Zambia in the 60's and 70's, and it's very good.

I just finished Julia's Chocolates by Cathy Lamb. It started a little slow, but it turned into a book I could not put down!
