Barbszy The Mermaid Chair was excellent. I'm almost finished with Winter's Tale, its almost 800 pages long and doesn't have a lot of dialogue so it's been a hard read. At times its really interesting but most of the time its just too descriptive of New York. It had really good reviews but I found it hard to read and easy to put down.

This week I read My Sister Dilly by Maureen Lang and Finding Alice by Melody Carlson. Both were quick reads and excellent, excellent books.

My Sister Dilly is about a woman who returns to her hometown after 15 years away. She feels she has to take care of her younger sister who has just been released from prison for attempting to take her own life as well as her handicapped child's.

Finding Alice is the story of a college student with schizophrenia. The author did an amazing job of presenting the way a person with this disorder thinks, acts, and looks at the world.

I have not been able to read that much so still on Hosea's Bride but am totally enjoying it.
My Sister Dilly sounds for sure like one I might like to read. Got to check the library for it tomorrow, thanks Barbszy.
Happy Reading all

I just started Partners in Crime for my mystery book club. So far, it has kept my interest through the first 3 chapters.
