Sammi, I haven't bought it yet. But I hope to soon. And when I read it I'll let you know what I think. Felicia

Dval--I have read The Handmaid and the Carpenter and throughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed the personal take on both Mary and Joseph. Even though this is a piece of fiction it makes you wonder what life must have been like for them. Denise--I love Mary Kay Andrews. I find her books and characters very entertaining. Barb--I have a good start on Nickled and Dimed (about halfway). I agree with you that is easy to read and I am finding it quite interesting. I am looking forward to another year of good suggestions for reading.

Sueanne, I have seen Monet's paintings at The Art Institute in Chicago. They are amazing to see in person along with other famous painters' works. Living near Chicago, I forget how fortunate I am to be this close to them. I just got "Audition" by Barbara Walters from the library. I'll let you know how good it is. She sure gave enough plugs for it on The View, lol. Gloria

| Janet, I also checked out "Friday Night Knitting Club" from the library and that is next as soon as I finish "Broken For You." I am not normally a fast reader but, I have to say, I havn't been able to put this book down! It's got a some cussing in it which I don't like but the story is so good I am looking past it. I am about 3/4 of the way thru and have NO idea how it is going to conuinue to twist and turn (which it does in so many shocking and interesting ways!) Kathy, it's funny, how about half way thru the book I thought OK, THATS where the title comes from!!!!! Barbszy, If you like quirky characters you will love this book! hugs, train
