| Dval, pills are easy to give to a cat. You literally have to jam it down their throat so quickly that that cat never knows what happened to her. If the pills are only for hairballs, what about putting a little Vasoline on the tip of her nose? Cats cannot stand to be dirty, so she will lick it off and it will get rid of the hairballs. If that sounds too yucky, you can purchase hairball meds, which is basically Vasoline that is flavored. lol Either way, put a little dap on her nose and she'll take care of he rest.
Sandie, I agree with you. Giving someone an antidepresant so soon after a loved-one died seems a bit much. Grieving is part of the process and it needs to be allowed to take its course, as painful as it is. Maybe she's having worse symptoms that anyone knows, such as feeling of suicide or not wanting to live or something equally as bad that the doctor felt the Lexapro would help her with. The good thing is that at some point, she can go off of it. Lexapro is also an a-typtical antidepressant, which means is has less side effects than older antidepressants.
DH called and he said that he will soon leave NM to come here. He called our DD and she was asleep. She said that DGS was doing well. I just find it shocking that she blames me for his symptoms when she's called me while she has had him worried about his symptoms. When she's brought the kids to our house, many times DGS's eczema was so bad it was bleeding. I think because she is staying with her MIL, she wanted to put on a good mother act. She told my DH that her DH will be bringing DGS back here in a bit. SIL has to work tonight and DD will probably sleep all day.
Well, I'm done with all my coffee, so I'd better get going to clean up the RV, take a shower, and other fun stuff. lol |
