Our imaginary Get-a-way place!

Since so many of us are going through some difficulties (to put it mildly), I thought it would be fun to invent a place where we could go to get away from it all. If you had a place to escape to, what would it look like? What would be available to you? Remember, money, time, and space are no problem. I'll come back with mine a little later. I thought this would be a fun project to help us keep our minds off our problems and give us a mental place to go to.

Great idea DeBora...well lets see my ideal get-away place would be in Vermont...a little cottage out of the way...quiet and peaceful...No neighbors or in-laws...lol...A place where I can sit back and relax without having to worry about anything...Oh I would need the internet...lol...books to read but no television...no worries at all...Just a simple place to go when stress and health problems weigh me down...Smiles & Hugs...

My greatest place is on the beach where it is warm. Of course, there will be a cabana boy. There are lots of trees. There is a nice log cabin in the nearby mountains. There is a fireplace for me to sit in front of at night. I also have a hot tub to soak in when I need to relax even more. The bed in my bedroom would be extra large to accommodate my boys (chihuahuas) and I.

Sounds like fun. Count me in!

My getaway place would need a great big porch, the kind that wraps around a few sides. Comfy chairs for reading with tables nearby to set your coffee or tea down.

My getaway place would be a quiet cabin on a lake with a huge porch. Everything would be very peaceful and quiet and clean! No clutter and no tv. Lots of books to read, a kayak to use, a hammock and porch rockers, and a big cozy bed to sleep in.

I'm adding a porch on my cabin with a rocker where I can sit and sip coffee while breathing in the nice air and rocking. Don't forget, I'll have that hot tub nearby too.

I want a whole train car to myself with the seats taken out and a comfy bed put in along with a comfy swivel rocker chair next to the window, a laptop, tons of books , a theatre TV and movies , a claw bathtub and my own personal chef!!!!!!!!!!
Circle the US a couple times then go up thru Canada and Alaska!

hugs, train

Wow, Donna, Now I have to add a personal chef to my cabin because it sure would be nice to have someone cook my meals for a change. And I like the clawfoot tub too!
