bras, bras and bras

What type of bra do you wear? I have big boobs, a 36 F. I have worn the Bali Satin Tracings Mininizer for years. Then I found this bra. It looks very comfy but I wonder about support. I hate to have my boobs flopping around. It hurts!

I really want to lose about 30 more pounds then buy the silicone stick on bras.

I wear a 40D and have a terrible time with bras. Right now all my bras are Playtex. I like the wide straps. I don't like floppy boobs either!!!!

Playtex or Bali are your best bets. Wide straps with extra padding on the straps so they don't cut in so bad. Also a wide band with at least 3 hooks.
I'm a 36D. I don't like floppy boobs either and they hurt. Darn things are heavy. I'm only 4'10" and weigh 118 lbs.

I had always bought bras from Wal Mart and they worked fine until t last few years they are not doing so well.I put on some extra weight after I quit working and did the menopause thing.Wn I gain the weight I went from a 36c to a 38d now I am looking for something with alittle more support and comfort.I have been thinking about trying the playtex myself.

I take a 12DD not sure what that translates to in US, they are just average-ish I think but to me those pictured bras look comfy, but I don't think I'd buy one as they don't look supportive enough for me. I have a great Berlei sports bra and I can tell you almost nothing moves in that one, but I also have a couple of triumph minimiser ones and a couple of lovable plunge front ones. Most have 3 hooks and wider straps. I hate ones that have the 'really' stretchy fabric that attaches the front to back pieces (did I describe that right?)
I hate bra shopping and I hate it more when you get one that is just right, a year later you go to buy another and they don't make that style any more ugggg!

I agree with Bilby...those bras do not look supportive enough for anyone with larger breasts. You need to have more support, so you won't bounce.

I used to wear a Dcup...now I am barely a C. Sometimes aging plays dirty little tricks on you!

I wear Just MY Size bras..and they seem to work for me.

To keep the elastic in great shape..hang them to dry.

This last year my bust grew from a 36C to a 36D...I have now given up on all my pretty lacey bras and gone for the wide straps and molded cups. Mine has memory foam in it so as your body heats up it molds to your shape. They are made by wonder Bra. I too hate bra shopping . I now go to a store where I can get a proper measurment and bra fitting. I also try on lots of different styles and sizes. I never pick a bra up from the rack without trying it on......the sizing is always different depending on the company. I may get 36D in one but be a 38C or 34D in anouther. I too always wash my bras either by hand or in a mesh bag so the straps don't get stretched and I aways hang mine to dry.

Hugs debbie

My DD does something smart and I should take a cue from her--she hooks her bras back together before putting them in the wash. This way the hooks don't get tangled on other things.

I never put bras in the dryer, and always wash on cold. I have a clothesline in my basement utility room/pantry so I just hang them in there until dry.

Barbszy I have a friend who does what your dau does with her bra's so guess we both should do that or get a mesh bag and put then in it. I have been buying JMS ones and bought a 42C the other day with wide straps and 3 sets of hooks. I have been wearing a 40 but band is a bit tight and making me sick on my stomach. I get that way enough already without my bra doing it. Good thread Connie

Memory foam bra! I will check that out!

I thought those bras looked comfy but little support. I hate the stretchy material too along with stretchy straps.
