Theresa, that is so horrid about that young man getting killed and no one even trying to help. though i will be away on vacation, you will remain in my thoughts and prayers! I hope your neighbors start behaving at the very least!

Car is loaded and we are ready to go. We have to go pick my ds2's friend and we are headed out. I will miss everyone while I am gone! Hope Mr. Poopoo doesn't visit anyone and that everyone has a good two weeks.

It might have been that the young man was already dead before anyone knew what was happening by what I read. It also appears that the attacker would have no feelings of remorse or anything. I bet he was almost robotic about the whole attack. The passengers would have been wise to just get out as quickly as possible. I am glad the driver and others prevented him from leaving the bus though. I would be money his defense attorney requests an insanity evaluation.

I hope everyone has a terrific weekend. DH has to go back to Carlsbad as he had forgotten to pay his rent! That will give me time to study for my exam.

I hope Sammi and family are having a great vacation! The island sounds heavenly.

Theresa, your red lily is what we call a "volunteer!" LOL! I agree with everyone, it sure is beautiful.

Connie, it is not that you are burning bridges but that you are closing the door on that chapter of your life. I think it is better to do that than to always wonder about "could it have been different?" Now you know and can move on. I am glad that your sis made the effort for you to be there (in terms of safe food for Jaz, etc.)

Happy birthday Meg!

For the murder, I did not read the article. I don't want to know the details. I am torn between wanting to use the death penatly more and realizing there are so many mental ill walking the streets. Sometimes I wonder if we have given the mental ill too many 'rights'. Made it too easy to sit and do nothing but live off the state? I think we need more halfway houses, group homes etc for the mentaly ill. My son and his wife included!!

I forgot to tell you about the CAKE! One was white and chocolate. The other was white chocolate, with raspberry filling. Oh my! Of course mints! The decor was grapevine and fresh red grapes. Very summery. The food, smoked pulled pork with or without bbq sauce in honor of dd. She cant eat tomatoes. Lots of salads. The only chips were fritos with dips. All of it peanut/treenut/seed free. All I took was a salad dd made for a side dish for herself. Clearing my throat here and.....IT CAN BE DONE!! Think my inlaws, neighbors, etc heard? ROTFLMBO

I slept so well last night. I really feel good! Closure is awesome.

Good Day Everyone

Meg glad your birthday was great...

DeBora of course his defense attorney will use the 'He's Nuts' defense...what else could they go with...Hope your studying goes well...

Barbszy that is funny that the lily is called "Volunteer"...I looked every where on the net and could not find anything like it...I am just baffled about where it came from...no idea...lol

Sammi have a great time on the island...Hope it does not rain and you get to relax and enjoy your vacation...

Connie...Canada does not have the death penalty...I honestly think they should have it...and if someone commits a murder and flees to Canada, the Canadian Government will not send anyone back to a place where they do have the death penalty...

Well its already 24C here and suppose to get more rain today and tomorrow...Yuck...

Oh have I got a good one for everyone here...Last night the neighbors father asked to talk to Glen...he never came in our yard, they talked over the fence...He heard we are selling our home,he actually had the nerve to ask Glen if he could buy it for his moron son's and hoped that the reason we were selling had nothing to do with his son's...oh talk about living in denial...Glen just walked away,he figured that would be better than hitting the guy...Glen told me what Terry (the father) said and I told Glen I would sooner burn the house to the ground then sell it to him or his son's...I feel sorry for anyone who has to live next door to them...

Going to be a fun weekend...lets see what they are going to do next...

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...

Smiles & Hugs...

Connie glad you had a good time at your sisters wedding. Even though some parts were stressful, at least u know where u stand and can walk away.

Theresa I still cant get that disgusting image out of my head about that guy murdering that young man. I cant help but wonder why!

Sharon I read about the man shooting the ppl at the beach. That one baffled me too... why?

Long day at work and so glad to be home!

It is 7:19, 105 in the shade in the backyard which is east of the house. Swimming was fine tonight! Think I am going to force my fanny out of bed and into the pool this week.

Last wonderful piece of white chocolate wedding cake is gone. Frosting is still in the bowl. The cake was so much better without the frosting!

The wind has blown about 50 mph today. Not a nice summery day.
