Hi, Just jumping in to give you a heads up just heard on the news that NOW postage is going up again not much on it except they say becasue of cost of gas and such goodness we just had an incease if I can find anything on this further I will let you all know.

Panama, we may be crazy or dreaming but ....I haven't seen my dh this excited about anything for a long time. It really feels 'right'. Plus I would LOVE to see the look on my inlaws face if we do move that far away.

For lunch today, I tried the egg white flatbread sandwich from Dunkin Donuts. It was pretty good. Better than the chicken one they have and only 290 calories. They have 2 different ones: one with turkey sausage and one with veggies. I had the veggie one.
I went to my dr today. She said I already had an ultrasound done when I went into the er for the first attack. The results show that I have "numerous small stones". I have an appt with a surgeon next thurs. I'll see where it goes from there.
After I left the dr's I decided I needed some tlc and my nails were long enough (barely), so I got a manicure.
I went for my walk tonight with Daisy. A nice long one. I had to wait for the rainshower to pass and pray that the drops I felt on my face half way through the walk were just spray from the waterfall on the river. But I squeezed it in along with picking up milk, too.
Time to get to bed, now.

Barbszy I hope your dd's foot heals quickly...but its good that she has a walking cast...My son,Jason broke the bone in the top of his foot and had to be in a cast for almost 3 months and no walking cast...

Woke up early this morning coughing up blood...went to the clinic and they sent me home...that was a waste of time...Will call my doctor today and talk to him or I may just call Sara and get her to stop by some time today...

Not sure what today will bring for me. Today is my oldest child's birthday! She is 20 today! Last year I bought cupcakes for her birthday, and she said I don't like cupcakes i have to go. So, I didn't get anything for her birthday.
She and DD2 are going to take the bus to the mall today. Oldest DS is headed off to the mountains with my parents. It will do him good to get out of here for a weekend. Than tonight DD2 will take off with her friend for the weekend. That will leave just DH, DD3, DS2, and myself for the weekend. It will be too quiet!

Connie, glad to hear God provided a way to have Stuie join your home and for your dd to get some help so she can get outside and do things more - this is a huge improvement and I hope you all have fun with the new family member
Mom 2-4 ,, my youngest decided she didn't want any party for her 16th, but for her 17th her own dsis threw a party for her and it was fun, still, I miss not having a landmark 16th to look back on
Theresa, does Glen know how to get ahold of one of us or get on FC in case you rush to the hospital and can't get on the computer? I just don't want to have you in there and we won't know where/how to support you - but you must know that regardless we do keep you in our thoughts and prayers
My big news and why I haven't been on for awhile is that I bid up on a research job and got it. This was unexpected and came about a year or more before I thought anyone would look at me. I will once again be learning all new things in the fall. I want to do well so I have been studying most nights and those I don't, I fall asleep. It will be in the College of Engineering working with a crew that does biodegradable fuel and hydrogen cell development. I will learn how to run a Gas Chromatograph and other things.

We are rethinking our vacation plans now that DD cannot go swimming with her cast. Usually we go to the NJ shore for our vacation. No beach this year I think we will be visiting Washington DC and Baltimore instead. I may even see about renting/borrowing a wheelchair so she doesn't have to be on her feet too much. Even with a walking cast that might not be wise to be on it all day.
