April Friendship Flower 08

Wow April already....I still feel like it is January here with all the snow we have!!! Hopefully we will see some April showers that will help to bring those May Flowers!!! I just want some nice warm days. I have to admit it feels wierd not celebrating Easter this month....no holidays at all. My hubby will be celebrating his 40th birthday on the 9th...So what is up at your home for the month of April???? Any special plans????

Hugs debbie

Hi everyone!

I got one of those exercise balls. It's HUGE.
Are there diferent sizes of those things? I'm going to start using it on the days I can't walk. I didn't use it today. I had to inflate that ball with this little foot pump. Took me a half hour. That was my exercise for the day

Johnnysgirl - Don't you think you'll like the new location? Is it more exotic? What happens if you like the place but hubby hates the job?

Sandie - Congrats on the weight loss. I had a little trouble getting my tushie going this morning, too.

Sharon - sorry you aren't feeling well. Hope you get better soon.

DeBora - Have fun at the races!

I'm tired tonight, time for bed.

Good night guys!

Hello

Debbie my oldest daughter,Crystal...her birthday is on April 9th too...she will be 29...but don't know how she can be that old when I am only 30... Happy Birthday to your dh...

It was nice today...warmer and some of the snow is melting...now if I could just send some of the snow to Donna...lol...wish I could...but hopefully it will all be gone soon...

Hubby starts night shifts on Wednesday...will be very quiet here except for the hound next door...yep my wonderful neighbors are worse than what they were before...they have this big dog that is part wolf, and it barks and barks and barks and barks...all the time and there is nothing we can do about it...Dutchess is terrified to go out in her own yard...so one of us has to be with her at all times...

Well I need to take my last meds and hopefully get some sleep...

Hope you all have a wonderful day...

Smiles & Hugs...

Sharon, I hope you are feeling better today. Did the storm turn to rain? I hope you didn't get much snow. We got snow then rain yesterday and today is cloudy and misty but we are supposed to get temps into the 50's and maybe even 60's today so I am hoping for a lot of melting snow!

Donna, I have one of those huge exercise balls too. I have done a few crunches on it but need to learn more exercises. I keep saying I am going to do it but haven't yet.

Theresa, I like your attitude about age. some friends and I (all in our 40's) decided we didn't think we looked like 40's and didn't feel like it so started the "25 forever" club. We thought 25 was a good age. Every birthday we just turn 25 again. My dks made me a birthday cake and put 2 and a 5 candle on it (as a joke) They told me I could use the candles again when I turned 52. i told them I could use the candles again next year and just put 25 again! I am sorry your neighbors are still such a hassle. I am in the same boat. Makes life very uncomfortable doesn't it.

DebK, I agree that it is very wierd not to be celebrating Easter this month. It just came too early. No big plans for the month except the wedding shower for my brother and his "wife" Remember they got married at my mother's bedside last Nov. but are still having their big wedding as planned this June. And dh is putting in 500 blueberry plants at the blueberry farm we are starting. My dd turns 21 on April 20th so that is another April birthday along with your dh's.

All my dc kids today. It is cloudy and rainy out but that works for me if it is melting all the snow. it is supposed to get quite warm out today. I need to take ds2 to the library tonight as he has a huge social studies project to work on. Just the usual chores to do today. I think i have spring fever as I have absolutely no motivation at all. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Sammi and Theresa, that's too funny about the age thing. I agree! On Sunday our pastor was talking about how very few of the children in religious education classes actually attend church (under 30% ) and he made a comment about how the church has to reach out to the MIDDLE-AGED PARENTS of these children in order to get them back Well, my kids are in that age group--and I am NOT middle-aged, thank you very much! I prefer to think of myself as "prematurely graying"

I too have been really messed up with Easter this early. My oldest godchild turns 30 on April 23, and I was sitting there on Easter thinking to myself, "It's Pam's birthday and I forgot to get her a card!" It was a couple of days later that I realized I had another month to get her a card!

Those exercise balls look like a cool idea. I'd like one to sit on at my computer. Then I could justify all the time I spend here But I could just see Luke and Adventure Boy using it for all kinds of scary stunts

It's a nice warm morning (61* already!) and not raining yet so I got out after everyone left for school, and had a nice long walk around the neighborhood. I'd rather walk outside when I can, than use my exercise machine inside. But that is good for rainy or very cold weather. Either way, I need the exercise

In case anyone is interested, (I did a little checking about why Easter was so early this year lol) here is the link you can read
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,339051,00.html
we wont have to worry about it being this early in our lifetimes, lol it wont be this early again for over 200 years, the article explains it, basically a scientific thing.
Just popping in to sub, I have to run out in a bit, before dd gets here with Caitlyn, hope you all have a great day, more later!

Hi All,

I am posting a few pics of my family. The first one is my table on the boat, so on the Left side is my step mom Luming, my step dad Bob, my Mommy her name is Barbara, my daughter Alexis. The right side is my son William, my husband Rico, ME, and my son Nick. The 2nd picture is the kids in front of a huge boat in the dock. The 3rd picture is my sister Donna and her husband Rick who threw the whole shi'bang for us to celebrate their marriage. and the last photo is Me, my sister Donna and my Mommy.

This month I am lost. My husband is gone for his Walmart training. He is only home friday night and sat and then back to Jacksonville on Sundays. Yesterday I worked 9 hours, started my period at work, not a good thing but I wrapped my sweater around my waist and stuck it out. Got home and had laundry, take the trash and recycles out and have my husband call to say he won't call me at night because he has to go to bed early. So that just got me mad because he works days, I work nights, there is no time to talk unless you make it. I ended up with a stress headache that stayed all night long and into the morning. Two motrin later I feel like its starting to subside, thank goodness. I am so glad tomorrow is my day off. I am headed to daytona, we need dog food, the pregnant one sure eats a lot. And I will take the kids to dinner. My whole plan for the month of April is just to survive it!!

I'm sending my warm sunny weather to all of you who have cold and snow. May your spring have been sprung.

Felicia
