I guess I always liked Frosty, especially the ones when he got family!

I just love Rudolph his story really makes you think. Not everyone is perfect and sometimes you can make a very big difference by being odd. I always watch Rudolph the Red Nose Raindeer every year and I am 48 years old. I never get enough of it.

The House Without a Christmas Tree is a book written by Gail Rock and was made into a TV movie in the 70's. I remember watching it when I was a kid. I just happened to see this movie in a bargin bin of Christmas movies while I was out shopping this weekend.

I like the Rudolph story too, but kids today see it and want to know why Rudolph doesn't just whoop up on the others. They miss the whole point of the story! My dgd said he should have just stomped them in the ground. I asked her why and she said at school if you don't you will always be picked on. Its so sad!
They really like The Christmas Story about the kid who wants a bee bee gun for Christmas and all the adults say he'll put his eye out. They laugh at all the bad stuff that happens to this kid & his friends.
We've banned a few movies here because it seems to promote a bad attitude, and a "what are you getting ME" attitude.
Anyone else finding the attitude for Christmas changing more negitive?
