Has anyone else seen "Frank TV" on TBS? This guy is hilarious!!! I just checked and so far, there is only 1 pilot episode listed that has been filmed. This guy does the BEST impressions that I have ever seen! He does Bill Clinton, George Bush, John Madden, Robert DeNiro, Robin Williams, Jack Nicholson, and more. I am wondering if anyone else has seen this show and, if so, what have been your impressions?
We watched it last night. DH and I both laughed so hard. He does President Bush so well, but he didn't do an impression of him nearly as long as I would have liked. But, he made fun of his communication skills. (I think his President Bush impression is his best one!) He did a whole spiel on President Clinton. It was hiliarious! As Clinton he talks about a Clinton library or something and tells that he has dogeared all the dirty pictures in the books. He shows a medical book open to a femal breast (it looks clinical) as an example. Anyway, I was just wondering if I am easily amused or if this really is funny.
I read his bio and evidently he is from MadTV. I have never watched MadTV so I am not familiar with him. Btw, his name is Frank Caliendo.
DeBora, we saw most of that show the other night and really enjoyed it, too. DH and I had seen him do standup on Letterman in the past, and he mostly concentrated on his John Madden and President Bush impressions. He is incredibly funny!
I didn't realize that it was a pilot -- it would be great to see more of him.
I've seen him on Letterman, too,and I think he is wicked funny! That show is a pilot for a series of 8 shows. I haven't seen the pilot, but I recorded it!

Evidently, they have filmed 12 episodes of this show. There was a new one last night. They are re-showing it again today. I hope they re-show it later in the week when I am hope and I can watch it.
I has seen commercials for this show and thought it looked funny. Last night I was channel surfing and saw it. I watched the whole show and thought it was very funny. He certainly has a talent for impressions. Did you see the part where he was coaching his son on a George Bush impression? Very Cute.
