My Space and Facebook

I was wondering if anyone had a Myspace or a Facebook page?
What about Classmates? Anyone a member of that one?

I don't have a Myspace page because any computer time I have is spent answering emails or HERE! LOL!!
I would like to know more about them what the intrigue is, etc? Is it mostly kids who are on myspace?
(Speaking of kids..........what in the world are these aquadots I keep hearing about on the news?)
I just was "Over The Hedge" for the first time and it was SO cute. My nieces have a fit when I don't know the latest Disney movies.
Well, I think I got a little sidetracked there!

I am on a trial offer on Classmates trying to find a few lost girlffiends.
Anyone have any good luck on classmates finding a friend?

I do not have a MySpace page or Facebook page. I do have a membership to Classmates.com and love it! It has been a great way to reconnect with former classmates and to look up other people you knew from high school and college. You can get limited access without buying a membership or more access to profiles etc. if you pay for a membership. All 3 of my dks have MySpace pages. As much as I think it would be fun to have a MySpace page, I just don't have the time. i would rather be on here!

I have both. I started out with it to keep an eye on Joshua's pages, but, darn it, turns out I LOVE it for myself!!! LOL Found a few friends from school this way. Found a couple of friends through classmates.dom too. Here is my page, if anyone wants to add me as a friend.

Train, I have been on Classmates.com for years. Now, they charge you for membership if you want to see who is asking about you. I do not want to spend the time or money. There were 13 in my graduating class and at least half of my class is still in "Mayberry." lol

However, through a member here on FC, I did join Facebook. There is a lot of stuff to do there, which most people know that I do not have time for. However, I did find out that my DHs cousin contacted me there as well as his other cousin's DD, who went to the same undergraduate college as I did. I have several FC connections there. Depending on how you have it set up, you can be notified when your friends post something there. They can contact you. Several have invited me to join things, but I haven't taken them up on their offers. I hope they aren't offended because it isn't personal. I am just terribly busy. I think you can make it how you want it there.

Also, I believe that when you join FaceBook, you can have them search for others who are on FaceBook that are in your address book. However, I don't spend hardly any time there until between semesters.

I also have a myspace, Stella, for the same reason... I wanted to keep an eye on my son and now I'm totally addicted!! I was saddened by news about MYSPACE which is all the more reason I have a page and keep up with the teens in my area.

There was a parent who made up an imaginary profile...led a young girl on and then told her they could no longer be friends because of rumors. The girl hung her self. This happened in Missouri I believe. It was in our newspaper today.

How can an ADULT do something like that to a child??? Errrr... that is one thing I don't like about these pages but I "police" the kids pages! These pages have pros and cons... no one has any thing on the CORNER though!

I am on both, as well. I started the myspace simply to keep in contact with nieces and nephews, but have grown to enjoy it more.
