Wrong job?

I read a story about a man saving a woman from a carjacker. After successfully saving the 22-year old woman, the man, Canales, went back to his work. Except, his boss told him that he was fired. The way I see it, Canales has been working at a wrong workplace.

Ever had a job and realized at a later time that the job wasn’t it?

It is scary to think that a person's reward for helping another human being is being fired!
Waht direction are we going?

I would have thought maybe he (the boss) could get some good promos out of it at least.
It does make yo uwonder why we try but one would hope that if I was in trouble some one would help me and vise versa

Hey thats quiet strange... luckily i have not yet come across any such situation... but recently one of my friend gave her resignations ... coz she was not able to handle the work pressure... I mean even late nights they expect you to work and if u don't they say... “u cannot leave the job without finishing your work” that's sad... I am happy with god's grace i have never come across such situation myself ....
