Ok Ladies........ time to tell the truth!

Do you return your shopping cart to the cart holder in the parking lot or back to the store once you have wheeled it to your car?

(And I'm not talking just at Aldi's to get your quarter back. )

We always return our carts...if I don't do it one of my kids takes it back. We have covered areas outside to drop them off at. i hate pulling into a parking lot and there is a cart in the way of a parking spot because someone did not take it back. If someone needs help an emploee will come out and help them unload thier purchases and replace the cart so their is no need to have them all over the parking lot.

hugs Debbie

Yes, I always take mine back to where they belong. If I go ahead and park and I see a cart in a parking spot -that's the one i take in. Then when I'm finished I take mine back in the store. The only time I will use the outdoor spots where they put the carts is if its raining or thunder- then I do put them there quickly.

I'm one who only returns it if I have parked close enough to the store.

By the time I have done the shopping, negotiated the parking lot without being killed, and packed the car... Sometimes the trek back to the store is daunting. When I'm parked in th e boondocks, I leave the cart in the area between the rows, up against a lamp post. I am usually so exhaused by the shopping trip that it's all I can manage.

I always put the cart in the holders in the parking lot and will take any that are loose by me as well put put in the holder. If I have one of the special oversided car carts for the kids I will take it back inside as the stores only have 3 or 4 of them and they take up to much room in the holders.

I always return the cart. I have gotten too many dings in my car or had to park farther away because carts were in an empty space.

The local grocery store where I shop has bag boys who pack the groceries and take them to the car for you, it doesn't matter who you are, old or young, man or woman (and they're friendly too!), so they take the cart back. But when I shop elsewhere I always return the cart. It's just common courtesy.
