AND FOOTBALL Season!


Starting off my season the right way.....

The Steelers won the "Hall of Fame" Game!!


We are having DirectTV installed this coming Sunday!! (Can't tell I'm excited, can you???)

Your Steelers looked great last weekend. It will be fun to watch Big Ben this year!
I watched part of the Dallas/Colts game last night. Tonight is the Atlanta game and tomorrow night is the Redskins game on NFL Network. Guess my weekend is planned!

We don't have it yet.....it's scheduled to be set up this coming Sunday afternoon. If things go smoothly, we will be enjoying it Sunday evening!!

We are so excited! Like little kids on Christmas morning!


Do you have the NASCAR TRACK PASS? We are getting it as part of a package deal during the 4 months of the Sunday Ticket. My guys are thrilled with that!

So far, I have to say that our FastAccess 6.0 Internet is faster than our cable connection.


If things go right, I think that we will be able to watch Philly on Sunday night. Go Donovan!


Sharona, We watched a little bit of the Dallas game, too. I watched Dallas for Bill Parcels. I'm not on the Peyton bandwagon like my DH is so he watched the game more than I did.

They are saying that Ben is looking like his old self again. I hope so! Can't imagine not having the Cower Power there but I am fully backing coach Tomlin. Let's see what he can do!

We don't have the Nascar but we did have the Sunday ticket for 2 years. But we found we weren't really watching it much, so we cancelled it this year.

There is a rumor going around here in Tampa, that if Jon Gruden(handsome Chuckie Boy) does not have a winning season that he will be let go and they will go after Bill Cowher. How cool would that be?? Though I do love Chuckie, since we finally got us our FIRST Superbowl ring!!! LOL

It would be hard for me to actually picture our Cower Power anywhere except for Pittsburgh.
It would take some getting used to. Rumors here are that the Carolina Panthers are going to talk to him. I hope that he goes anywhere else but to them.


This is our first complete day with DirectTV. They installed it yesterday and then my husband had to go and really clean up the lines to make it look neat inside our house.

We won't get to see the Steeler game tonight but they are replaying it tomorrow and then we can watch it! Sept 9 the Sunday Ticket kicks in!!


I have most of my Steelers stuff hanging up already. BuddyBeanieBaby sent me a Steelers sign that we hung on our front door. It says "Warning! You are entering Steerlers Country!"

I read this week too, about the Panthers may try to talk to Cowher. I guess we will see which team is worse. LOL The Bucs play Jacksonville tonight at 7:30. We shall see how that goes. LOL

didn't watch the first 2 preseason games ..(darn not feeling good)..but do know the scores ..lost the first to Carolina 24-21 and won the second from Baltimore 13-12....at least we are even so far...
