I voted my cell phone as I use it all day getting calls from my dh on his lunch and breaks and use it alot for my business calls. A very close second would be my computer, those are two things I can not live without.

Margaret

I got dh one of those hand crank radios for Christmas, he absolutely loves it and we use it alot when we go fishing or vacationing.

I said desktop, I would have said laptop but I don't have one right now LOL

My cell phone is a close second. I didn't have a home phone for three years until this past week. So I depended very heavily on my cell phone for quite some time.

I know this should be quick, but everything I use is run by electricity, and two and a half years ago when we had four storms in a row it knocked out the power for six days in a row the first time. We lost food in the frig and freezer, we had no micro to do any cooking, the hot water tank was off, the
washer could not be used, and the air conditioner could not be used.

So, at that time the air was greatly missed, because of the terrible steamy heat. We spent most of the time just sitting around, and it became very boring, wondering day to day whenwere we going to have the power back on?? Thank Heaven the toilet didn't run by electricity!! LOL!

The same things happened within a week or so after due to a second storm lasting two days.

Blondie...I agree with you about the air conditioner. Here in Florida it is warm most of the time. It is a pleasure to be able to feel comfortable in your own home. Can cook or bake without worrying about heating up the house.
Second would be TV enjoy watching a good movie or show on a large screen is so enjoyable.
What a great invention electricity is the list goes on.

I voted for other. I can't live without my digital watch. I have a very hard time of it when I know that I am running behind schedule for something. I do not like to be late for anything and will do everything I can to be a least 5 to 10 minutes early for everything.

I considered voting for my computer (or in my case a laptop) but realized that I can go days without touching it sometimes.

Me I'd have to say tv also, I can do without all the others and if you've camped you can do without stuff.
Doesn't bother me really BUT if we are talking about forever I'd say my computer and mobile phone as well as tv
