You know this whole thing could have easily been avoided.
Paris, if you want to go out and party & drink too much---hire someone to drive you home! I am sure you can afford it.
Wasn't she supposed to be in court 45 minutes ago? I told you that I thought she was going to pull something.
I agree, she has the money to hire a driver. Besides, how much does it cost to have someone take you to a bar and then come back later to pick you up?
I am getting SO tired of the media complaining that this isn't a serious offense so they shouldn't be forcing her to go to jail instead on house arrest. Does she have to kill someone on the road first? Isn't this like her 3rd offense for this? I would definately say that this is serious. Besides, this judge tried to get her to be punished at home and she didn't comply.
It sounds to me like she cried and batted those baby blue eyes and the sheriff melted! I can tell you this, he is in the wrong field if he can't resist that. Maybe they need a female in charge of that jail. We women would know exactly what tactics she is using! It wouldn't work with another woman! lol
She's not out of the house yet.....Must be putting on her makeup......The media I'm listening to is saying she should go to jail like anyone that committed this crime.......Her driver is at her house waiting to take her to court......I guess she doesn't want to go in the sheriffs van..........Last I heard is that this judge is very mad....We'll see......
Well, she is on her way to court, nearly an hour and a half late. I hope he throws the book at her. Did you hear that she called some friends over last night? I will be at lunch when all this comes out from the court hearing.
I think that if she had some health issues, including psychological, she needs to be put in a hospital or mental health ward until she is healthy enough to serve her time. Other inmates are required to do that and the time they spend in a hospital cannot be considered toward good time.
This was posted on MSN today...gee she really has it rough, doesn't she...
LOS ANGELES -- Paris Hilton was ordered to appear in court Friday instead of calling in from home, yet another reversal in her twisted path toward serving time on a probation violation.
The decision by Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was announced by court spokesman Allan Parachini shortly before the start of a hearing that could put the 26-year-old hotel heiress behind bars again for violating probation in a reckless driving case.
"Judge Sauer has instructed the Sheriff's Department to go to Ms. Hilton's residence, pick her up and bring her here. That is happening now," Parachini told reporters outside the courthouse.
Hilton appeared to be in handcuffs when she was placed into a black-and-white patrol car, which sped away from her home with lights flashing as news helicopters followed. Early Friday, Parachini announced that Hilton would be allowed to take part in the hearing by telephone. He said he understood that was her attorney's desire and it was not unusual for phones to be used in misdemeanor cases.
California Attorney General Jerry Brown criticized the Sheriff's Department for letting Hilton out of jail, saying he believed she should serve out her sentence. "It does hold up the system to ridicule when the powerful and the famous get special treatment," Brown told The Associated Press in an interview before testifying at a congressional hearing in Washington. "I'm sure there's a lot of people who've seen their family members go to jail and have various ailments, physical and psychological, that didn't get them released," he said. "I'd say it's time for a course correction."
Shortly before noon, Hilton issued a statement through her attorney. "I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally," she said. "I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."
Hilton's path to jail began Sept. 7, when she failed a sobriety test after police saw her weaving down a street in her Mercedes-Benz on what she said was a late-night run to a hamburger stand.
She pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
In the months that followed she was stopped twice by officers who discovered her driving on a suspended license. The second stop landed her in Sauer's courtroom, where he sentenced her to jail.
I think she should still be in jail for the remainder of her sentence...

Does anybody know who the Darling family is........They took out a full page add ....We Love Paris.......Also a banner flying in the sky We Love Paris........Wonder how much they'd love her if she hurt/killed one of their family members driving drunk??????? Let's hope Paris learns something.....She left the court room screaming it's not fair.......So she hasn't learned yet!!!
Judge orders her back to jail and now she has to serve the rest of her 45 days instead of 23 she went screaming out of the court room. Now the Sheriff has to see the Judge as he didnt know any thing until this morning and the sheriff may lose his job.
