I am wondering how many NASCAR fans have it bad? How bad have you got it and what proof have you got?
Me? I have a Bobby room in my house complete with a stand-up poster of Bobby, several diecasts, some are autographed, several racing caps, some are autographed, a HUGE autographed Interstate Batteries banner with Bobby featured on it hanging over my bed, and so many other things that I cannot list.
I also have what has been affectionately deamed the "Bobbymobile" which has vanity plates (having to do with Bobby, of course), lugnuts from Bobby's race car hanging from the rearview mirrow of the Bobbymobile, and a couple of racing stickers supporting Bobby on the Bobbymobile. (Only a couple becauce I don't want my car to look trashy.)
I wear Bobby Labonte tees almost every single day, including socks! Sometimes I wear one of my autographed racing caps. I also have a BL umbrella. I also have a NASCAR purse. I would have a BL purse, but my old one bit the dust and they don't make BL ones currently.
I have been featured in a racing magazine.
I have Bobby's autograph tattooed on my right leg. One has how he signed it when he raced in the #18 and I had him add the #43 when he went to Petty Enterprises and then had that tattooed on.
The RV that I live in while I am going to school is made up entirely of BL and NASCAR stuff. Even that bed has a BL bedspread and sheets.
I have several coats for the winter and all are autographed.
Okay, I don't expect anyone else to compete with me. I just think it would be fun to tell our stories of how bad we got it. We can also share our meetings with our drivers and their families if you want. I have a friend who met Joe Nemechech and his mother. The story that I heard is cute!

My son has a lot of Jeff Gordon stuff in his room.....posters, cars and even a JG action figure. He has a JG hat and shirt that he loves.
Grandma is bad at spoiling him with JG stuff. He turned her into a NASCAR fan a few yrs. ago.
He would LOVE to meet him one day. Andy is usually never lost for words and loves to talk with anyone but I think that he would be speechless if he ever has the change to meet him.
DeBora, Andy is absolutely in awe of you because you know Bobby!
Andy could probably get to know Jeff. I am not sure how close he gets to his fans. I think his fan club outings are in October around the same time as Bobby's in the Charlotte area. If you are a member of the fan club, it is very cheap to attend. Bobby's entire family attends his including his wife, parents, and sometimes his mil. Some fans are awestruck and are afraid to talk to Bobby or his family. Some are comfortable with him. I don't know how your DS would be. Bobby adores kids, so they usually get more attention than the adults. lol Maybe Jeff would be the same way. lol
I love Michael Waltrip. Like you I have a stand up poste, numerous clothes, a giant autographed picture and cars. unfortuanetly, when he doesn't race now I had to pick a new driver, because in my family we have a points system and whomever has the lowest points at the end of the season has to buy everyone else dinner. Of course the person with the most points gets to pick the place. So now I cheer for Tony Stewart. I think I muight be a lttle more gungho for hin right now I made my bedroom Orange and Black to start.

We always welcome a NASCAR fan! I can see why you have to have another driver. Michael hasn't been able to make it in another race. Terry, (Bobby's brother, Terry, is driving for Michael, during the Indianapolpis this weekend.) I always root for Bobby! Please check back and I will be glad to chat about NASCAR. We have a few fans here at FC who are NASCAR fans!

That is a great family idea! I bet that you all have a lot of fun! I like Tony, too.
My opinion of Micheal has changed from good to bad over the past few years.
What do you think about the wreck that Michael was in? He rolled his SUV at 1:50am. A witness called 911 and then climbed down the ditch to check on him. She saw him climbing out of the back. She told him to wait that police and ambulance were on their way. That is when he ran off to his house about a mile away. He didn't answer the door until the next morning. Michael said that he fell asleep at the wheel. I think he had been drinking and didn't answer the door until nobody could prove he had been drinking. It would have meant the end of his racing career if he had been arrested for DUI.
Also, in the rumor mill is that Bobby is working with Richard Childress Racing to possibly race for them next season. A lot of fans do not want to believe it, but since I listen to Bobby's radio each week, I have been hearing how frustrated Bobby has been with Paul, his crew chief. If Bobby does leave, I hope he can take Eddie, his crew chief with him. That man knows where every car is on the track at every moment and how they are doing. He also is great at pumping Bobby up.
This is how bad I've got it. Today, we are eating Totinos Pizza Rolls for lunch, or rather, the GKs are since Bobby has them on the hood of his race car. They love it when he has treats on his car because we always celebrate. Once, when Bobby had Gogurt on his car, the GKs were here and I got them some.
Did you hear that Junior is going to try to get the #8 car next season. But, if he can't, he will get the #81 so that all his fans who have tattooed #8, can just add a 1. lol I don't care for Junior, but he is really good to his fans.
My daughter loves JR. She is probably as big a fan for him as you are for Bobby. I think that is when I started doubting Mikey too. He left the scene of an accident and that was hard to accept. What did you think of the brickyard of course I am bragging because my guy won again. I felt bad for JR though because he had a good race going.

This is only my opinion, but I think that Mikey had 2 choices. He could get into trouble for leaving the scene of an accident OR he could stay, get arrested for DUI and lose his right to race in NASCAR.
I don't know what I am going to do if Bobby leaves Petty Enterprises for RCR as I have #18 and #43 with Bobby's autograph, which he signed, tattooed on my leg. I will run out of places for Bobby to scribble a new number. lol
