I thought Jeff's wife's due date was later in the month. He says that he is going to have Mark Martin drive for him if his wife goes into laber at a time when he'll miss the race. But, we all know that they both can have that baby anytime they want so as not to miss the race! Oh yeah, he IS going to have a girl! lol
I am not sure how I feel about Pocono. I do know that it is located in that God-awful Yankee state of Pennsylvania! Seriously though, Bobby's average finish is 16th. But, after this year, they will be racing totally in the COTs. So, if Bobby's performance improves there, then, I'll love it! lol Next week won't be a COT race, so it'll be interesting to see what he says in his radio. lol I have never been to the Pocono track and I don't know anyone who has been so I don't know from a fan perspective what it is like.
As for Junior, Budweiser is still under contract with DEI, if I am not mistaken. Plus, Joe Gibbs Racing doesn't allow alcohol sponsors, that I am aware of, besides the little emblem that Budweiser requires to get the Bud Pole award. I wonder how well he will do at JGR? I mean, Joe Gibbs is a conservative, clean driving company. Junior is still a little on the wild side and has been allowed to skip Monday morning meetings to sleep in because he likes to party late into the night. Wait, I just realized that Tony is one of them that he parties with! lol He might just fit in afterall. lol But, I am with you, I am getting so tired of every race and every NASCAR program being the Junior Show! I know it isn't Junior's fault, but I am really tired of it.
In case anyone wants to know, Bobby will be on Trackpass on June 17th. Of course, I will remind everyone. lol
I thought I would let everyone who is interested that the time trials (qualifying) is at 3:40pm, on SPEED channel, tomorrow. Or, if you have TrackPass, you can listen to it there. Sometimes, NASCAR.com also has free TrackPass so that you may listen there from time to time. Also, Jayski.com allows you to watch coverage in black and white. Just click onto the Pocono race link.
Round and round and round we go, where the cars end up nobody knows.

After the pit road incident last week in Dover, where Kurt Busch rammed into Tony Stewart's car in his pit stall, Kurt Busch is penalized. This is dangerous because of all the crew members running around that could get hurt or killed by his car. He was parked for the duration of the race after the incident in Dover.
Tomorrow is the race! I noticed that TNT is having a NASCAR Live on TNT Live at 12:30pm, ET. I can only guess that it is to honor Bill France.
The pre-race show is at 1:30pm, with the green flag expected to wave at approximately 2pm, but I am willing to bet it won't wave until at least 2:10pm.
They are saying that with the rain, the green flag will drop at 2:15pm, ET. But, if they are just now drying the track and there still are some drizzles, I would bet money that the green flag will not drop at that time. I just cannot imagine them being able to dry the track in about 45 minutes. There is one cell near the track too, so I hope it doesn't rain anymore!
