Talladega NASCAR race discusson thread

The Talladega race is coming this weekend. Who will you be rooting for? This is one of those tracks where NASCAR makes the drivers put plates over their carburetor to restrict airflow, thus reducing horsepower. It also has a lot of wrecks!

When is the race DeBora?

Coll, the race will be next Sunday on FOX at 11:00am, ET. However, I think that the actual green flag will drop at 11:40am, but don't quote me.

Qualifying will be on Saturday at 2pm, ET. Please don't quote me, but I think that will be taped and not live. The order in which they qualify will be drawn Saturday morning via lottery balls.

Talladega is an impound race. Here is the link for the impound rules. In a nutshell, an impound race means that the nobody is practically allowed to make changes to the car after qualifying. There is only a few things that they can do to the car.

Hey DeBora, I saw on Jayski's where Bobby is going to be running the Spiderman 3 paint scheme this weekend! That is so cool, I know when my little boy sees it hes gonna convert lol he loves him some Spiderman. So you stole one of my Denny fans for this weekend lol. Are you proud of yourself? LOL You and Bobby stole my little boy

Of course I am proud of myself. LOL Tell him to practice, "GO BOBBY!!!" LOL

When I get home from school, I will post a picture of Bobby's car for this weekend since it will be different than usual. It will be black.

I cannot wait until then. Qualifying is on Saturday, isn't it? I will have to check when I get home. Otherwise, somebody will have to let me know.
