NASCAR Texas race thread

They will be at Texas this coming weekend. Thank God it will NOT include the COTs. I wish NASCAR would do more testing before running these car of tomorrow's again. Brian Vickers has 2nd degree burns on his feet and butt from a broken exhaust as well as carbon monoxide poisoning. This seems to be an every race situation, which doesn't seem to be getting fixed. But, they will be running the COTs in Arizona! Bummer.

The Busch race starts this afternoon. April, I don't know if you plan on watching the Busch race, but Denny will be in it as well as Bobby.

I just changed it to ESPN2. It does sound like tennis. But, I bet the tennis is running late. Since the race doesn't start until another 3) minutes and it was just a pre-race program, I bet they are going to finish the tennis match.

I hope it doesn't cut into the actual race. I've got the tv to myself today so I can maybe watch the whole thing.

I bet they will switch over within the next few minutes since the race will be starting, at least that is what they said. We'll just miss the prayer, the song, the military fly-over, and a few other things. If they cut into the green flag, they will probably get death threats. lol I wish one of those tennis players would just beat the other one soon to break the tie! lol

I am trying to get my cooking and dish washing over before the race starts. lol

ARGHHHHHHHH ESPN irritated the crap outta me,, they cut short Carls flip to go to something else and now they let tennis go over, I had to send them a piece of my mind. lol

I bet you and Bobby both are glad to get back to basics in the old car in the cup race huh? I hope he does good today and tommorow he really needs a good race to get him good and pumped back up again, from the sounds of it he has been sounding pretty down and out the past couple weeks, so nothing but good luck vibes to you and Bobby form me & Denny hehe.
