DSM-IV-Family Corner version

We have been joking around on the Friendship Flower Thread about one lady stating that others might think she was a crazy old lady. So, I jokingly made up the criteria from my imaginary DSM-IV-DeBora's version manual of mental disorders. (The DSM-IV-TR is the manual mental health professionals use to diagnose people with various mental problems.)

Crazy Old Lady Disorder
A person can be classified as Crazy Old Lady when there is the presence of two (or more) of the following:
(a) Is a regular poster at Family Corner
(b) Is "old" by the definition used by anyone over the age of 30
(c) Has specialists on speed-dial
(d) Puts Staples ink in an Epson printer
(e) Blood pressure increases after discovering that there has been a personal consumption of a brand of peanut butter that has been recalled due to food poisoning.

Okay, think it would be fun for us to make up our own mental disorders in which we all can blame when we lose our car in the parking lot, when we say something "stupid" to our new neighbor, and so on.

So, what disorders can you come up with and what is the criteria that must be met in order to be diagnosed with a disorder from the DSM-IV-Family Corner version?

Well, I can tell you right now that I qualify as a Crazy Old Lady by DeBora's standards

I think we all have Family Corner Compulsive Disorder which is characterized by the following typical, but not all-inclusive symptoms:

(a) When anyone mentions "sisters," automatically thinks of the ladies on FC,
(b) Has a tendency to name daughters Amanda,
(c) Views all recipes as candidates for either a Chef Guy Icon or a Blue Ribbon,
(d) Views all daily occurrences as things to be shared at FC,
(e) When confronted by a loss of electricity, first wonders how on earth she will make it for 20 minutes without FC,
(f)Has to check out FC with first cup of coffee in the morning, and
(g)Has to check out FC last thing at night.

Please note that this is not a comprehensive list of symptoms, and should be added to as additional symptoms are noted.

Adding to Laura's:

When you remark to a friend about something that happened on FC and they say snidely, "
Well you have to get your friends where you can..." and you feel really great about having FC anyways!
