Welcome to March!!!! Wow I really can not believe we are already here. The month where it will either come in like a lion and out like a lamb or vice versa It is also the month that we think of green and celebrating the luck of the Irish on St Patricks day So do you have any special plans this month???
My moms birthday is on St Patricks day so we have always celebrated the holiday in style! We make green pancakes, green bread and green milkshakes to go with our corn beef and cabbage dinner. I love March because we start to see warmer temps and the snow begins to melt away.
Hugs Debbie

Just posting this here so everyone will get to see it...Barbar posted earlier
wow, it been a long time since I've been over here.
The main reason I'm here today is to post for our sweet Donnna, aka Trainlady.
As most of you if not all of you knew today was her surgery. She has asked me to post for her and this was one of the places she wanted me to post.
I've talked with Donn'a mom, she made it thru surgery fine. It took less time than expected. the doctor did take both ovaries out. one did have a cyst and the other was enlarge.
They did find endometrium which was what was cauing alot of the pain.
The doctor did a good overall cleaning of everything.
The surgery has made her nausea. The doctor did order something but the first meds didn't work, so he order something else for her. Of course she didn't have anythng on her tummy as herher last meal was about 6:23 as that was the time I talked with her ( her time). Bless her heart it didn't help
Depends on the factor of the nausea will depend on if she can go home tomorrow or have to stay in one day longer.

Thanks for the post on Train! I hope she heals quickly and is pain free asap.
The only plans I have in March, so far, is to get some tattoo's and go to dinner with my siblings, nieces, cousins, a big bunch of us. It will be such fun!

DebK, thanks for the update on Donna. She was in my thoughts all day today. Can't wait to see what the new flower for this month will be. Thank you for starting the March thread.
Craftylady, if you are heading to NH this weekend be prepared for yucky weather. I am in central NH and the weather says southern NH will get snow, sleet, and freezing rain and nothern NH will be getting lots and lots of snow. Not sure what I will get as we are right in the middle so could get some of everything. I hope you have a safe trip and a wonderful time visiting your family.
Meg, glad to hear you got some rain. Hope you get a lot more to help with the drought.
Felicia, awesome pics. Your hair looks great!!!
Ellen, are you getting another storm this week? We are supposed to get one starting Thursday night so I would imagine it would hit your state before then. I still love building snowmen. Did you ever see the Calvin & Hobbs comics with the snowmen in them? All of them were so funny. I always think of those comics when I see snowmen.
Am glad today is over. It was just so very busy and hectic. Tomorrow might be better but have both babies so hard to say. My ds2 would behave better it would certainly help. With the storm coming, I ran to the store tonight just to make sure we have enough milk and bread. I always get paranoid like that. Hope everyone has a great evening.
My plans this month include going to the St. Patrick's Day Parade and planning my son's birthday party. He's going to be 11. I can't believe it's been that long. I just received a letter from his school letting us know they are going to have those "special" health classes for his class. I have noticed that his voice is starting to change. Just a little now and then. Every time it squeaks, I yell at him to stop growing.
Thanks for all the support about my mom. I appreciate you all letting me talk through my feelings. You guys cost less than a therapist, plus you make me laugh. Every night when I say my prayers I ask Jesus to tell her I love her.
I'm glad Train is doing so well.
Fish...I like the hair...pretty shade.
My time is up so ....Good Night all!

Four years without my best friend
no way. i had no boobs, just skin and bone and it was impossible to find clothes that fit. especially pants. if they fit from waist, hey were to short, if they weree long enough, they would drop down. argh. i was about 47kg and 169 cm.
Gosh, I was an early bloomer and I got teased for having huge breasts at an early age. But, when I was young, I didn't appreciate them. Now that I appreciate them, I don't have them. lol
Felicia, I love your hair color. Maybe we can get our hair cut together. I have been putting my hair cut off because I cannot decide how to get it cut.
Okay, I am one of those with ugly feet. When I was so skinny, I looked like I had an eating disorder, I had so many people tell me my shoes were too big for me. My feet, without the toes, are so long. My toes are long too. That is how I broke the toe that is next to my big toe 2 months ago, just walking over a pillow. I am going to show the doctor tomorrow as the skin turns red and itches where it broke, so I want to make sure it is has healed okay.
That is wonderful news about Donna! I am so glad that she got through it okay. I am sure her nausea will end soon and she will start to feel so much better. Thanks for keeping us posted.
I had a meeting with my lab professor this afternoon, finally! (He truely is the absent-minded professor.) Anyway, we found all sorts of problems with the program I started last semester. Since it was started before I started with that lab, I will have to go in and piece it together and figure out if there were several versions before I started. Argh! That is before I can even start to analyze data. However, the really scary part is that he wants ME to write a program and start participants on them. I have only worked with this program and an experimenter and have never done programing on it, but I am going to give it a try starting Monday. He said that once I start running the subjects on the one I create, I can find the bugs on the other one while that is going on. Such stress! I have an exam on the 14th that I am also stressing over too. But, I figure I will do it. I usually do.
I hope everyone has a terrific day. I had a check-up with my doctor tomorrow in Ruidoso.
