Candy Land has been around forever, still play this adorable game with my Grandkids. My favorite game game as a kids was Chinese checkers and still is. Anybody remember a card game called Michigan Rummy? I remenber playing this for hours when I was a teen/adult and then playing it again when my kids were in their teens/adults I have to look and see if they still sell this game, even dh loved playing...
I can remember playing "Life" over and over with my best girlfriends. I also remember Backgammon- it was one of our favorites. I bought my son a Life game this past Christmas- I will have to re-learn the rules!
As a little kid, I really liked Pacheesi. As a teen, it was chess. In my 20's it was Trivial Pursuit. Now? I don't really enjoy board games - "bored games" according to the ol' curmudgeon - LOLOL!! When he and I first married, we used to play chess a good bit, but never had time to *really* get into it properly with intra- and post-game analyses etc., so we gave it up.
Now we both enjoy computer games of the solitaire variety. I enjoy Arachnid (Spider) solitaire and some of the Mahjongg variants. He's currently "into" a Mahjongg variant called Shisen. I have the shortest time of the two of us, but he's closing in!
Cheerio!

God loves everyone, but probably prefers "fruits of the spirit" over "religious nuts!"

As a child, I always played the board game, "Life". With 3 older sisters, & a bunch of cousins, there was always someone to play it with. As I got a little older, I began playing "Yatzee" with my mom. Its been a long time since I last played a board game, but the last time I did, it was "Risk". Fun game!!! Now, I am addicted to computer word games, like Bookworm & Scrabble. Bejeweled is cool, too.
