Hummingbird, I used to have "tons" of board games too..but sorry to say, since the internet became part of our lives, no one wanted to play games anymore...and my boys grew up..we do play a board game after Holiday dinners, like a tradition for us.
I also love jigsaw puzzles..but I have to build them alone. Anyone want to come over to build puzzles? I have a real tough one to build.
Janet - have you seen the big 3-D puzzles of places like St Basil's Cathedral??
Cheerio!

I was wondering what Apples to Apples was??? I see it alot around!!
Betty, it's a great game. One person places a green card down, which has a word on it. The others then have to throw, face down, one of their red cards which best 'fits' the word. The green card person chhoses which one is best, using whatever criteria they like! For example, if the word is CLUELESS the cards put down might be radishes, Norma Jean, KKK and marshmallows! Then chooses which is "best"!
There are speed variations and it is heaps of fun. I think there is also a junior version.

I have done a few 3D puzzles, and and now I have a puzzle with some squiggly pieces and so hard to start..I could use some help..so head on up everyone! When we tire of puzzling we can play some games and eat some goodies!!! How long can you all stay? Till Easter? lol
Hey Janet I need a long vacation so I will stay past Easter. LOL....Another fun game is, "Big Trouble". My daughter plays this with her 9 & 5 year olds. I have played it with them and I think it's a card game that's fun for any age. The object is to pop the bubble and get some one in big trouble. First to discard all cards wins....... Hugs.....
