Annoying kids tv shows

Are there any tv shows that your kids just have to watch that irritate you?

Not that the show is necessarily a bad show just that the characters or the intro song or a host just bugs you?

ds1 many years ago loved Thomas the Tank Engine and an enterprising Aunt gave him a video, in between each ep "that" music plays, on and on and on, I cringe everytime I hear that music now.

There is a new show called "Oobi" (or something along that line) that consists of characters that are someone's hand with a set of plastic eyeballs--the kind that wrap around your finger.

That is the whole show! OMG, I cant stand that show!!

Another show called the Upside Down show is pretty annoying as well.

When my son was little, he loved to watch Caillou. After a while, the whining from this little boy got on my nerves. I am happy that my DD only likes to watch it once in a great while. Thank goodness I like Dora and Diego or I would be in big trouble! lol!!

My dd loved to watch barney, he has to be the most annoying thing she has watched. I am glad she has moved onto dora now, i can handle watching/listening to dora the explorer.

We did get Barney here for a year or two but it wasn't a big here or a show my kids liked, too girly for my boys LOL
Never heard of Oobie, or Upside Down show. I think I'm lucky.
My neices would watch Teletubbies (Brittish show) and that was a 30 mins show of goo goo ga ga baby sounds with big horrible blobby people, that thank heavens was also one my kids didn't like!

My kids watched the Teletubbies when they were little. My daughter outgrew it faster than my son did. I am happy that she did because my patience grew thinner the second time around with that show too.

Another show that my son has watched last year that is truly annoying is the Amanda show! OMG! That girl gets on my nerves!

Personally, I hate Dora the Explorer. Especially that bratty monkey!! It's wierd, because I like the concept of the show--helping others in trouble, being kind, exposure to other cultures, etc. But those huge eyes she has kind of freak me out--and I hate the monkey.

Ds1 was obsessed w/ the teletubbies and I was sooo glad ds2 wasn't. The newer one by the same people is called Boohbah--and it's got to be the strangest show I have ever seen.

Oobi & Boohbah are both pretty annoying. Isn't it funny that the shows we find the most annoying are usually the one's the kids like the most? I've had to ban a few shows from my kids. They learn enough bad habits from friends, they don't need to see them on tv also. A couple of the shows my kids know they can't watch are...Hey Arnold and Billy & Mandy. If these shows come on they tell me and then they change the channel.

I was just reading today that Greg, the main singer, is really sick and will be leaving the group. The article reported that he has been fainting during performances. He needs to have a double hernia operation too.

I still like the Wiggles and it won't be the same without him.

My son is not allowed to watch Hey Arnold, either. I cannot stand that kid's football head!

No Simpsons on our TV either.
