I like that they don't sugar coat it, and sometimes the dad bugs me because he controls so much, on the other hand, he also works very hard to create fun and family time. I think the dad works two jobs, one as some kind of tools supplier? or something professional, and the other running the family farm. I see them as middle america.
I am seeing the 'little' people part less and less and just the people part more and more and maybe that is the whole point of the show, we are all more similar to each other than different.
You know, they just keep working it, whatever they do, they do it to the best of their abilities and they surely do love those kids, that dad and mom are always working together even when things are rough and last week's episode was rough!

thanks Donna NOW if I can just remember to check Monday nite. I like Idol too. And am watching Dancing with the Stars as well as the Batchelor this time around. Anyone watching "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" ? I am I really get a lot of laughs out of that one

Yes, that is supposed to be the opening episode, Deb, that one with the catapult. From what i understand though, it has already played on the east coast so maybe someone out there can bring you up to date....next Monday it will show out here on the west coast.
