Best Movies of 2006

Well 2006 is 3/4 over so thought I would ask all of you what you thought some of the best movies were from this year. What ones would you watch over and over again???

Hugs debbie

I have seen the odd movie this year, but still have my favourites. My favourite ever is between Beaches, Body Guard, Sleepless in Seattle, While You Were Sleeping, Mr Holland's Opus. So you see, quite diverse. This year I took dgs to Ice Age 2, The Meltdown - and we both LOVED it! Also saw Shrek 2, and then bought the dvd. Cars is next on my list!

Don't know when dh and I last went to the movies - we tend to get dvds and watch them at home.

I have seen so many movies this year that I can't remember them all but one of my favorites was Brokeback Mountain. I also liked the movie Friends with Money. V for Vendetta was also great. I am sure there are more I really liked but I can't remember them at the moment.

I have seen lots of movies this year. I really enjoyed the movie RV with Robin Williams, also the movie Cars and Over the Hedge too. Off the top of my head those are my favorites this year so far.

I really liked Walk the line, Cars, The Wild and the Wedding crashers. I was not a big fan of Brokeback Mountain. I think I was expecting so much more from it since it was so in the headlines then I got dissappointed when I saw it. I do this with many movies that are up front.

Your right Walk the Line was really good too. I enjoyed it a lot too. I hate when the make a big deal about movies, as a lot of times I don't like the ones the rave about at all. So I just judge the movies for myself. Haven't seen Brokeback Mountain and haven't wanted to, to much hype about it for me.

Have a great day everyone.

We went to the dollar movie theatre to see RV, Cars, The Wild, and Over The Hedge. I wouldn't mind seeing any of them again.

Before he moved to Nevada we and another family would have movie night with a friend of the family. He rented Mrs. McPhee (sp?) it was better than I thought it would be.

I recently saw "Friends With Money" and loved it. Good depiction of women's friendship. Also saw "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang". It was a funny detective movie and Robert Downey Jr. was very good in it as was Val Kilmer.

We've seen The Fast and The Furious - Tokyo Drift and The Wedding Crashers several times. As well as Star Wars.
