Survivor fAll 2006

Anyone planning on watching this seasons controversial survivor??? I have read the teams are divided into 4 and it is by race. Asian, white, black and Latin I believe are the chosen races. What are your feelings on this???? Are you still going to watch????

I don't think dividing people by their race will change the game it just give people something to talk about.

The one where they divided men & women I felt gave the women a disadvantage as men are generally phyisically stronger than women so the physical competitions weren't even.

Then there was the one where it was the under 40 versus over 40 crowd. I don't see the "race issue" as any different.

I will be watching we tape it and watch on the weekend as a family.

Roberta we feel the same as you but I was just curious as to others opinions and if it would change whether they watched it or not. In the end they all end up on 1 team anyways and there is only one survivior.

I have watched many of the Surviviors in the past, but did not watch the last one as it didn't fit in my schedule. I will probably watch the new one depending on the night it is on. As far as the race division thing goes---I haven't really thought about it much. Might be interesting to see the first few episodes and see how much it really comes into play.

I am a true Survivor addict! I wasn't concerned at all about the division by race. I was very impressed by the Hispanic/Latino Tribe on the opening episode. They showed true teamwork, positive attitudes and seemed to be a pretty strong tribe. I'm excited to see what the season brings. Never have had a "Pool" for survivor just for football and Nascar but would like to try that.

We all throw 5 dollars in for each person we pick then draw a name out of the hat. Winner takes all at the end of the game. Makes it fun. I have done it with my scrapbook group and with just friends.

I felt at the beginning of the game that the Blacks & the Whites had a disadvantage because they only had 2 men and the Hispanics and Orientals had 3 men on their teams.

Since the blacks lost the first immunity challenge and now only have one man I think they will be in big trouble when strength is needed.
