Do you play pool?

Hi all! If you play pool I could sure use your help...for an event my church is having this weekend we are having a pool tournament (yes, we are a very different type of church) How does a pool tournament work? Just one vs one then winner goes on to play winner of another one vs one or do you do two out of three wins or......

any ideas?

When I used to play pool, I played on teams. I enjoyed playing pool when I played 3 games. It was better than playing 1 game and then not win. lol In 3 games, I felt I had atleast another chance to win. lol We just played 8 ball. The only pocket we had to call was where the 8 ball would go. I got pretty good at playing pool from not knowing how when I joined the league.
