Calling Someone

Do you talk on the phone often?
When you are feeling down and need to call someone who is the first relative or friend you think of?

For me, it would be my bestest friend, Eileen. Usually though, I email rather then call because I hate telephones. (I know, I'm weird!!!)

hugs, train

Donna, I am not a big fan of phones unless I can talk and do other things at the same time! I would much rather do email when I can.

However, when I need to talk, I usually call my DH! Give him a Kondike bar! LOL

I call, e-mail and sometime stop in to see my sister. She is 7 years younger (with one sister between us), but the two of us have always been close. We live with in 3 miles of each other and have some kind of contact everyday during the week and usually at least once during the weekend. Our children are close in age and are good friend too.
We both get along with our other sister too, but she lives out of state and the daily interaction doesn't happen with her.
Donna and Debora I like to talk on the phone and probably prefer the phone, especially if I need immediate answers.

I talk to my twin sister at least once a day. She lives 670 miles away and it used to cost a lot to call, but now with cellphones and long distance rates low, she and I call each other for any reason--lots of days we talk two or three times.

That reminded me to email my sister. Between her schedule and mine, email allows us to keep in touch.

I''m not much of a phone person. I talk to my mom and dad frequently. If I need someone to talk to during the day I'll call my DH's cell phone (he'd be at work) and he'd call mine back.

I guess I pretty much communicate via email and AOL.

Hugs,
Lauri

I am much better on the phone than in person. I hear a lot and have lots of words. I like person to person if there is a problem though.

I talk to my Sister Roseann every day on the phone even though we are in different states. With cell phones talking long distance is cheaper. Talk to my Sister Patricia Ann at night or she comes over on her days off from work.
I usually call my Aunts & Cousins on weekends when it is free with the cell phone. Mom enjoys keeping in touch with everyone.
I also enjoy talking face to face with friends in my neighborhood. Since Mom is here little harder to see everyone all the time.
A walk down to the pool keeps us in touch with friends.
I do use IM on the computer but it is easier some times to just talk on the phone than type.

I talk to my mum, and a couple of girlfriends on the phone but we also catch up regularly. I'm not a person to call some one just because I'm down I prefer to keep to myself.
When I'm on the phone I can talk just as much as I do in person.
