April Friendship Flower

Well as we say good bye to March and head into April we can all hopefully look forward to warmer days. Flowers and trees are blooming and I for one am finding my spirit is renewed. This is the month many of us celebrate Easter. This is also the month we turn our clocks ahead one hour...yikes anouther hour of lost sleep.....what am I to do!!! LOL
So what are your plans for the month??

Hugs Debbie

Nice pot! Hi DebK, I don't know what base he is going too. His name is Vlad, he'a about 6'5" tall and is from Russia [speaks it fluently] but is an American citzen now. He is in the airforce on the NJ base here.

Felicia the base at Kandahar hes the air base so I would think that is where he is going. The base is huge though so the only way they probably would bump into one anouther is if they went looking. Mike uses a bike to get around and stays he still has not seen it all. Mike bought the bike off of a member that was leaving along with a TV and DVD player. He had burned a bunch of movies and sent them over with his kit before he left. Although he has only watched one movie since he has been there. He is far to busy. Will be keeping you future SIL in prayer as he heads over to Afghanistan.

Hey, Deb! I like the pot. Does Mike have a CD player? If so, what type of music does he like?

I have to run.

Take care all.

Debbie

Hey Debbie

How are things with you today!!! Yes Mike has a CD player. He likes most music especially country. He does not like heavy metal or much Rap music. I talked to his Major today phoned to tell me all is okay. Also said that Mikes superiors are extremly happy with him overseas. They said if they could promote him today they would. I am a very proud wife right now. mike puts so much into his job and prides himself on good work ethics. It is nice to see it recognised!!!

Hope everyone is having a great day

hugs Debbie

Debbie, things here are busy as usual. I am sorry that the kids aren't better, but glad that they have the time to recuperate at home.

Jamie has been running a low grade fever again with a headache and cough. I know that his allergies are bothering him and suspect that he has a sinus infection as well. He took his allergy medicine this morning and seems to be doing a little better. Jen got her allergy shot this morning and is doing well.

We had a very busy morning. Chessie had to be at the vet at 8 so I left at 0715 to take her. She has gained almost 6 pounds in two weeks...the vet is thrilled. But the vet also thinks that she may be part Great Dane instead of Boxer. We have to wait until she has stopped growing to really see.

Then off to wait in line to get Jen's passport for Canada. That took about an hour.

Then to the allergist. The kids had Chik Fil A for lunch.

And then we went to one of the bakeries uptown. They have this wonderful cinnamon chip bread that is wonderful for French Toast. We are going to have that for supper (the kids anyway).

And then home.

And now house work for a bit.

Tomorrow I work and then we are going to go climbing. I can't wait...and I will leave work and come back if I have to in order to climb.

I really had better go this time.

Take care.

Debbie

Hi Deb,
great job on the pot so cute. I am so sorry that Mike and all the service men have to go through that kind of treatment. So glad he is so.
Margret yes I did hear about that how terrible and scarey I feel so sorry for the little on.
Well just letting you know I am here.

My day sucks!! If I could I would throw a huge temper tatrum. Really I would love to yell and cry and jump up and down. I had some upsetting news in the mail.... I lost the cell phone today. I even know where I lost it but it is gone. ...... I made plans with a neighbor and they fell thru.... Really I am so tired of making plans with people then to have them fall thru.... Doesn't God want me to have time with other moms? I could go to the yard sale by myself but I don't wanna!!! There will be a lot of the snobby people there and I wanted to go with a friend. I should call this friend and see if everything is okay but I know something isn't okay and really don't know how much more I can take either. I can wait until dh gets off work and we can go together but sometimes it is so cool to hang out with another mom.
