Your occupation

What is your occupation?
What is your dream occupation?

I am a SAHW.
I would have liked to learn sign language and be an interpreter! That would have been cool!

I know that the majority of the women here are SAHM and That IS Awesome!! This is just for fun!!
If you had to/ or chose/ or wanted to work outside the home, what would your dream job be?

hugs, train

I am a SAHM and very happy that I can stay at home with my kids.

Like you, I've always wanted to learn sign language. I wanted to become a Speech Pathologist.

Now, I would love to become an Elementary School Teacher for grades K-2. I have volunteered in my son's classes for the last 3 years through these grades and have loved it!

I feel lucky to do what I love, stay at home with the kids and home school them and write novels when I can get time to do that. I dont think I would want to change anything but maybe find more time to be able to write. Lately I have been too busy.

I work in an office, the same office I started in right out of high school in 1983. Now I'm doing billing. I like working, but working part time would be better. Alas, I can't. I'm the breadwinner of the family and with it comes a lot of responsibility. My husband has a job, but not as high-paying.

I started selling Avon 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest. I started my Avon business with the intention of being home with the children and for 7 years I have been able to do that.

I'm there for my kids when they need me and am able to be in the schools as a volunteer as well.

I work part time hours while bringing home the equilalant of a full time job paying $9 hr after taxes and daycare expenses for 1 1/2 kids.

I am a homemaker.
My dream job would be to sit at my computer and work and make quite a bit of money(more than my husband). BTW, he would love that.

I am a baker. I bake for a private boarding school. I really like my job, but my dream job is to be a domestic goddess.

I am a daycare provider and always wanted to be a teacher, so I guess I'm as close as I'll get. I am a teacher of preschooler and we are now under the board of education. The best thing is that I am home for my son and I dont have to pay daycare.

I recently was given a new title. I've had the job awhile, but the title is lovely. I'm a financial conservation specialist. Hahaha. I'm a frugal sahm. Of course, I gave my self the title. I don't really know what my dream job would be right now. I would like to earn some money, tho. I love books (reading, I find writing to be pure torture.) I do love saving & just dealing with money. Maybe an accountant for a library?
