Did anyone watch the premire last night? I was flipping channels and saw that it was on - i have say that the performances were pretty outstanding.

I watched it this week, I thought it was very good too! One of the contestants (Nicole Jamrose) is from my area - the town right next to mine. Her name is all over the place around here, it's pretty cool!

She's actually my favorite one on the show. She's so pretty and I love that she has kids What did you think of Monique getting kicked off last night? I felt really bad for her and I also didn't feel like she was the worst one, but I'm never right at these things!

Oh- have you checked out the website for Nashville Star. I was just on it the other day and they have so many fun interactive features. I've been playing with the music video a lot..

I haven't been on there yet, but I'll have to check it out! Nicole is my favorite too. She has a very different sound and I like it. Her mom is my son's health teacher as well so that's just one more reason to vote for her
I felt bad for Monique too... she has a phenomenal voice, but I think she has more of a broadway voice rather than country or even pop. I'm not sure I'm liking the Wynonna and Cowboy Troy combo... they kind of make him out to be a dork! I liked him when I saw him perform with Big and Rich (on tv, not live) but not sure about him here.

Yeah i feel the same way. I think he is an acquired taste, but i actually didn't know too much about him or "hick hop" before he was on the show - so it's kind of cool to know there is a different side to country music...

Anyways, i especially can't wait for next week - I saw on the website that Naomi Judd will be a guest judge! I'm such a fan of hers and I think she will be truthful and offer some constructive feedback to the contestants! She'll look gorgeous too
