Well Will March come in like a lion or a lamb??? This is the month that we celebrate St Patricks day and the beginning of spring. The days are starting to get longer. I for one can not wait for the snow to leave and for the warm breezes to make their way to my home. What are your special plans for this month?? Do you go all out for St Pattys day??? We dress in green and eat green food for the day......my kids love it. It is also a special day for me because it is my moms birthday appropriatly named Patricia.

Got the flower up and running on the first try!! Never sure if it will show up!! LOL Almost forgot March was here with Feb being a short month. I am home sick today, just don't feel very good and knew I could not watch kids. Have slept most of the morning. One of my parents showed up at lunch with homemade soup and toast. How sweet was that. hope to keep up with all of this month, things have settled more into a routine here at the house. Mike is doing well and staying safe so far. We get to talk about once a week. Well going to go find my pillow again. Have a great day everyone

I am Irish but it does bother me that St. Patrick's Day has become all about the beer. I'll try to make some Irish recipe in honor of the day, and of course I'll take out my Irish music tapes and play them as long as the kids can stand it. OK, maybe I'll play them a little longer than that I really like Irish music
This Sunday we'll be celebrating Luke's birthday and I'm serving ham and cabbage, which is my favorite Irish meal--so I'll just enjoy it a little early.
I t is taking me longer to get back in the swing of things. I have been very upset with myself because I never seem to get things finished. I am determined this week to get things done.
I cook with ground turkey all the time, usually it is Italian food. I substitue ground turkey for ground beef in my lasagna. I also use it with ground sausage for my meat sauce.
I will try to catch up with everyone tonight when the kids go to bed.
It is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow so I guess March is coming in like a lamb. Unless things change over night. I will be glad when the weather is more stable. I don't like it to be so cold one day and freezing the next. We don't do anything special for St. Patrick's day. I may wear green if I think about it.
