spent the last two days moving my computer from one room to another and didn't have it hooked up till tonight..
DeBora ..watched some of the race..Never was a nascar fan to speak of but you have me interested...one thing that I notice is that unless you get one of the front spots you don't have a very good chance of winning..but checked my email and saw this and thought of you so...snagged it...you may or may not want to snag it...

Well, my Bobby finished 2 laps down! He tried the Dodge Intrepid instead of the Dodge Charger. Everyone who made this change had problems. Dodges usually do poorly in NASCAR because of its design. This has been my only worry with Bobby's change. I guess I am going to have to send Bobby a snail mail telling him that I am still behind him in the morning.

Daughter-o-breezy, that is why I will never go into child psychology. I cannot handle parents who hurt their children--no matter what level it is.

My Cousin raises animals for the 4H club. Her daughter just won a ribbon at the county fair for her baby goats. They weighed only one pound when they were born. The whole family is really involved.

We had a fun weekend with a retirement and a surprise 40th birthday party!

I have ate well for an entire week now and that is a miracle for me! Even at the party, I had no dessert at the retirement party and only one bite of birthday cake today. And It Was Good!!!!
I have made a chart where I can mark off 5 vegies a day, 5 fruits..........dairy.etc...........
So far I am doing the best with fruits.

I have my root canal on tuesday.
Anyone willing to go for me?

Don't worry.....they are a piece of cake. Pardon the pun!
Do you have them give you Nitrous Oxide? (laughing gas) I always do, and use a small cassette/cd player with headphones. That way I don't feel anything, and only hear the music. It makes everything a whole lot better.
I'm telling you, I'm a huge dentist-hating chicken, and they give me nitrous for anything, even a cleaning. I just can't sit still otherwise.
The only drawback is that i have to sit in the waiting room, or my van for 1/2 hour or so, until I'm sure that i'm ok to drive.

Ellen, I wish I could sing too! My dh has a very nice voice but would never do it in public! I just love listening to him sing to the boys at night I guess it makes my heart sing
Dinksy, glad your on the road to recovery, sorry about Jamie getting an ear infection. I have been dealing with plenty of those this year from Josh!

Train, yes the little lug probaly has helped with the arm muscles, but sometimes I end up hurting my back! Sounds like you had a nice weekend, good going on skipping desert I just dont have that will power!

Barb, Glad you enjoyed the wedding, how nice your mom brought you a pot of Stew!

Debora, Your dh is a brave grandpa, my dad hasnt ever driven around the block with my kids! lol

We had a busy weekend, I went to a baby shower on Saturday, it was fun realized the mom to be and I have known each other for 23 yrs, I cant beleive it! I actually met her sister first during study hall in 7th grade she passed me one of those silly tests from Young Miss magazine and the rest is history! lol

Her cousin whose baby shower I attended last month had her little guy on Saturday! Went to visit her yesterday, baby is so sweet! She went to the hosiptal at 8:30 Friday night (water broke) the hospital was hopping in the birthing center 35 women in labor! YIKES! Those poor nurses! She ended up not having hers until 16 hrs later!

Evan was good about church this week, I only had to sit with him for 5 minutes during Sunday school! Not sure what his sudden fear of "school" is all about, he also did better at Pre-K this week but still went teary eyed at the beginning!

Good morning everyone!

Bird flu.... yes I am worried! I read somewhere that Germany has a cure for the flu. It is a virus killing pill and a bottle costs around $5. When they tried to import it to the USA the fees for the FFDA was one million. I wonder if I can find anything online.... I have found a supplement that is great with virus and infection, pm me if you want to know more.

The goats are so cute! I need to get over and help my goats milk gal milk. It is so relaxing.

Train, wish I could go with you but the NO sounds like a great idea!

Want a great laugh? Went to a auction yesterday... the MIL and FIL were there, they refused to speak to me but did speak to dh. I finally left it was too stressful. After I left SIL showed up. She said they are all so sorry about the shower, they didn't know other SIL was doing that, it was wrong, FAMILY is family (since when?) bah bah bah... ended with SIL telling dh that FIL jumped on the husband of the SIL that was in charge of the shower.... anyway now they are so mad, they refuse to speak to anyone in the family. My FIL wants to talk to SIL since he hasn't chewed on her yet..... I think they are nuts. This neice's wedding is the 12 and no bridal shower yet either. Wouldn't it be a hoot if they 'forgot' to invite me to that too? How would they explain that one? Should I lock my door AND buy some crosses for all of us? These people are nuts! I swear I am gonna make a torch for the 'family' so whomever has the torch that week can be nasty to me but no one else. Maybe get them organized in the nasty business?

Forgot to add, I finished my sixth ( I think) poncho this am! This one is mine. Anyone else getting the poncho bug?
