Lita, sorry to hear about the job. Like you said maybe GOD will find a better place for you to work which may be at home with your kids.

Lita, there is probably something better coming along. The job you didn't get was probably not right for you.
When I was looking for work seven years ago, I applied at a number of places and didn't get hired. Three of them went out of business a year or so later. I thanked my lucky stars I did't go to work at one of them.
DeBora I never give my cats or the dogs I had people food. Cats should not be given milk after being weaned from mama cat. It gives them the runs. Most people think cats should drink milk. What they need is water. This is just an example. I hope Jet-Bo is better soon. It is such a big worry when our pets are ill.

Bluebird, does your doctor seem to think that your pain will go away or that she can fix it? Sounds like what my DD is going through. She had a cyst before her last baby was born and has been in pain ever since. They cannot find out why she is in so much pain. She seems to hurt in her lower back. The doctor is thinking about doing some sort of block where she will be numb, which could cause more damage. I told her to go to another specialist since he/she may be able to do nerve blocks that won't numb her and will allow her to function.

DeBora, I had a nerve block done after the fifth surgery for a pinched nerve. I don't know if I could recommend it... The doctors think with time, the pain will go away. I had little healing between the last two surgeries and there was lots of damage to fix. When they shipped me from one hospital to another, they told my husband as long as I didn't pass out, they thought I would live. When I was awake I was fighting ..... I didn't know this for a long time. I knew something was terribbly wrong but that was all. It has been a long road to recovery. If your dd is still having pain it could be from scar tissure OR she could still be having cysts. I would get another opinion, soon. My ovary twisted 720 degrees before it died ( have pictures, very gross) and the cysts went all the way into the fallopian tube and exploded it. It happens rarely but it happens.

I had to ask dh last night if I still had one fallopian tube! LOL Remembered while cooking.... the kids were so impressed with that conversation! LOL And nope I don't. When I signed preop papers, I put it down that they would remove the last ovary AND tube or I would refuse the surgery. Why didn't I think about that three surgeries before??

Connie, congrats on your DH getting a raising! Whoo Hooo!

And one more that we know of!!! About time they started treating everyone equal. Still wish they would have went union... but God has plans for the company.

Bluebird, this is only my opinion, but if it's a bridal shower go as racy as you want! Has anyone thought about also having a langerie shower? Those are fun too.

I will go shopping next week..... want to find out her bedroom colors and stuff...

Need to go lie down for awhile... sore throat keeps coming back. Oh, I had a scare this morning. Doorbell rang while I was talking to ds counselor. It was a man with a FedEx shirt on asking if I had a package from FedEx yesterday. They had lost one. No uniform pants OR FedEx truck. I couldn't find a number to call the local FedEx office so I called the police. I wasn't scared until the dispater sent a cop over ASAP. The guy made me feel creepy..... Turns out everything was on the up and up BUT this is not a good way to search for lost packages!!

Thank you Jrz, Coll and Seleach for your words. It is nice to hear that someone read my post...lol. It lifted my heart to read what you said and Sharon I chuckled when I read your little saying at the bottom of the posts...it gave me a humorous look at things...my trying to get a different job and taking the test only to find out it's a no-no....but anyway, like what's been said...God has the one for me and knows where I belong and I just want to be in His will. At times it's hard but like you put it Sharon, there will be a time of looking back and saying "so glad that I did not have that one..." .....so Praise God. Thank you ladies!

Jrz, before long the 30th will arrive and just keep those funds tucked away for the appointed time to be seen. God continue to touch upon your dh's body and let everything go super on that appointed day at the end of this month.

I am watching TBN and other Christian stations as they really keep me in the Spirit. I pray that my neighbors get saved and changed!

With much love,
LovedMom

I just wanted to share this since I forgot to mention it in my previous post.

Yesterday is when I found out about the test results and as we left our home to go grocery shopping, and going up the hill to the grocery store nearby, I noticed the license plate of the car in front of us as it was just turning away and I was feeling a bit discouraged and the license plate read "Godswl"! Amazing how God speaks to us!

And for you ladies who want to, check out http://www.worship.net
for some wonderful e-cards and livestream worship. Be blessed.

Thanks Bluebird. She's only 23 and she's already had huge cysts on her overies twice in her lifetime. Now, she is in constant pain and is frustrated about them not finding out what is causing it and how to help her feel better. Hopefully, she will go to another doctor soon. They probably need to look into her overies again since she had to have the cysts removed when she was pregnant with her 4 months-old. I appreciate your advice.

As far as the people food, I don't allow the boys to have it anymore except for certain things that dogs are allowed. I do use a tiny bit of low-sodium chicken broth in their dry food as it is too big for toothless old dogs to eat and the moisture helps. The Vet said that was okay since I didn't use much. I also have to mask Jet-Bo's pills every morning in a tiny piece of meat. I use the minimal amount possible as his kidneys can't handle it. I would like to look up a way to make homemade treats for renal failure in canines. Thats the only thing that I miss is being able to give them treats. Poncho is allowed to eat the dog treats, but Jet-Bo isn't. So, I need to find some recipe that they both can eat that I can make.

For those of you who do not know, my new username will be DeBora43. I hope it won't be too confusing for everyone. I've been trying to type in blue instead of green to help myself get used to the change. It will be officially announced tomorrow in Phoenix. Then, I have one of the moderators make the change on my username.
